I continue to struggle these days and ageing is not helping, but have since the last crowd funder (£15k) been able to ‘outsource’ some of the work – reading, posting and reposting work by readers, some research, some calculations, monitoring several email and social media accounts and so on.

Already, the latest crowd funder (£2.6) looks like, at the very least, seriously reducing my scope to pay for that.

So, apologies if you make a great comment and it stays at just that.

I hope to continue my own media monitoring core stuff, solo.

Footnote – I won’t give up and I’d never put TuS behind a paywall but I struggle to equate the glowing comments with the harsh economic reality. I’d make more filling shelves in Asda or if, like WOS, SGP or others, I just posted stuff about Trans and the SNP, Nicola’s book, or paedophiles in Labour or how to do your nails.

  1. John, I’ve just donated after reading your post but was completely oblivious to the current fundraising campaign. Don’t know why but maybe worth examining?

    1. Previous ‘TuS’ funding assistance, is something to which I’ve been happy to donate, albeit unfortunately, not sums that could be considered ‘huge’ in amount, instead was ‘cut to the ‘affordable’ cloth’!

      I’ve obviously somehow missed out on the abovementioned Crowdfunder to aid you, in being able to bring ‘TuS’ to we appreciative Scots.

      I’ll ‘get out my calculator/’pen, paper, fingers’ and do a wee, ‘formally known, in ‘household terminology”, as

      “‘Anything spare’ ‘Reconciliation/Assessment'”

      and see what I can do!

      Is there a link, bearing in mind I remain in ‘suspended animation’ on Twitter.

      Suspended because of my continued support for Gaza, allowed back on, but upon demanding to know ‘the basis of the suspension’, no answer was the reply and suspension has been extended to, ‘perhaps forever’!

  2. I donated after reading about your fundraiser in a comment on WGD. I wish I could donate more. I read all your posts as I get them emailed to my inbox but don’t always click through to the blog.

    You have a terrific work output and no wonder you find it tiring. But please carry on, even at a reduced level, because the service you provide just isn’t available anywhere else. It’s invaluable work correcting the incessant lying of the MSM which will only get worse as Holyrood ’26 approaches.
