On BBC Breakfast this morning, a Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy activist gave credit to the Scottsish Health Secretary for ensuring the speedy adoption of a new drug, across all the health boards, while in England it remains a postcode lottery, deeply upsetting to parents.
BBC Scotland must surely cover that in the public interest, in accordance with their royal charter and editorial standards?

I was told, years ago, that BBC Scotland’s news ‘values’ (whatever that bombastic term might mean) were governed by what appeared in the other media. Since STV and the Daily Ranger reported this, I can only assume that BBC Scotland ignored this wilfully.
