Scotland’s drinking water is the best in Europe and is ranked second in the world but not reported by ‘our’ media?

In February 2025 the Medical Travel Insurance specialists at AllClear released a report analyzing more than 2,000 Reddit comments identifying the most frequently mentioned destinations for the best-tasting tap water on Earth.

“After reviewing all the comments, the team found that Scotland was the most frequently mentioned destination in Europe and the second most mentioned location in the world. The report noted that travelers particularly praise the water from the Highlands and lochs, particularly Loch Katrine, for its “bottled-water taste.”

Time Out magazine, the global media and entertainment company which covers 333 cities in 59 countries, featured the study, although making sure that Scotland was seen as being part of the UK.

“Worldwide Scotland was the second-most mentioned place in the world, meaning it was only beaten to the top spot by one location, but it’s not where you’d expect. New York City ranked in first place for the tastiest tap water in the world. The Big Apple’s water comes from the Catskills mountains.”

    1. Well it’s deliberate for sure, but of course those who need to see it, that the English ‘media’ including the BBC are pulling the wool over their eyes, are blind to that fact.
Blah, I can’t string my sentence together very well, anyway you know what I mean.

The ‘union’ has relied on the uniformed staying uninformed of the truth, hence Scotland has been robbed to the tune of £trillions, it’s tragic. I watch a YouTube channel when time allows called Bagtown Clans, it’s all about battles, oppression and wars against Scotland by the English mostly, and it’s by a person in the US! Anyway, in the comments recently someone said, they feel so bad for Scotland re the terrible historic violence and oppression. Now it’s economic oppression and control via propaganda and, it’s successful in conning the people, including those newly resident who will have the vote in elections.

    1. Meanwhile the UK hasn’t had a consistent industrial policy either. There were so many personnel changes at Westminster that no coherent policy was ever put in place. Starmer and Reeves have undermined industry with the NI levy on employers and the highest energy costs in the world.

Meanwhile in New Zealand Comalco who run the Tiwai Point aluminium smelter at the bottom of the South Island tried to hold NZGov to the fire over their electrickery costs. Govt turned around and said “If you don’t want the power the rest of the country could do with it” (Almost the entirety of the through the mountain Manapouri hydro station goes to Comalco).

Comalco grumbled and went back to work.

  4. And yet when challenged by Stephen Flynn on the lie told by Labour’s Steve Reed that Scotland’s waterways were in a worse state than England’s, the latter stood up in parliament and lied through his teeth again despite the fact Flynn told him the information came directly from information in the Commons library.
