90.6% of children and young people started treatment within 18 weeks of referral, which is an increase from 89.1% for the previous quarter and from 83.8% for the same quarter ending December 2023. The Scottish Government standard which states that 90% of children and young people should start treatment within 18 weeks of referral to CAMHS was achieved.4,362 children and young people were waiting to start treatment at quarter ending December 2024 which is an increase of 3.1% (131) compared to 4,231 in the previous quarter1
What does ‘started treatment’ mean? Isn’t the first assessment meeting part of that?
Isn’t there an important fact here about the long term service – it has always treated more than 70% on, time, has been improving for years and almost hit the target in the last quarter? Isn’t this news more useful than the musings of one private consultant? Is she known/related to STV staff? Easy to get in? No research required?
What’s the situation in England?
The Children’s Commissioner report for 2023-2024 is due this month but last year it was only 72% seen within 52 weeks! 2
Remember, that 18% difference, 28.6% better, means thousands seen on time in Scotland and hundreds of thousands not seen on time in England.

Holyrood Mag. joins all the other unionist media outlets that constantly tell us that Scotland is SH*T !
Why , then , are so many English people moving to this SH*T country each year ?
Could it be that the unionist media are not being truthful when they report on Scotland ? Surely not !

Saw this online today.
Billionaire John Cauldwell changed from Tory to Labour for the 2024 GE.
Why ?
Well in John’s own words he said this on BBC Newsnight in 2024:
“What Keir has done, as far as I can see, he has taken all the Left out of the Labour party, and he has come out with a brilliant set of values and principles and ways of growing Britain in complete alignment with my views as a commercial Capitalist”.
Indeed John. Labour are now on the right politically as they have cast off any fake notion that they ever could be or ever would be Left wing under Sir Keir.
I mean Keir may say that his party are the party for the “working people” but what he did not mention when he said that was what working people he was referring to , as in not the working class but the class of people who run large corporations kind of “working people”, hence John’s enthusiasm.
Cauldwell was the founder of Phones 4U and he said last year that “he will vote Labour for the first time in his life”.
John Cauldwell normally votes Tory, though he obviously realises that in him now changing his support and vote to the Labour party, then in effect, he is now actually still voting for the Tory party in all but party name.
He, Cauldwell, was reported as “praising Sir Keir’s attempts to get rid of what he called “the loony Left” which he claimed had focused on “extreme socialist policies”, instead of “creating a wealthy Britain”.
Well you see that’s the problem , as in who it is that Labour and Keir are “creating wealth” for within their Britain, certainly not for everyone and definitely not for those in need, but seemingly so far with labour it is very much just for the ‘select few’ like John for instance, hence John’s enthusiasm.
John’s selfish logic also deduced that “”We can’t tax rich people in order to help the poor because they’ll go off to Monaco and other places, we have to create real genuine wealth.” (he means the rich will go off to Monaco not the poor, as if).
What a choice . What a life. “Genuine wealth” but only for those who are genuinely already wealthy.
No like to pay tax to help create a “wealthy Britain” ?
No worries , because as a (avoider of paying higher taxes in the UK) aka a wealthy tax dodger , then just bugger off to a country like Monaco (Tax Haven) that has favourable tax terms for the rich and where it does not tax individuals on their income. Also on the plus side the poor are not helped. Win Win, hence John’s enthusiasm.
John is on the Sunday Times Rich List that claimed last year that he was worth £1.537bn -John also said that “he had met Sir Keir and Sir Tony Blair in January (2024), and he saw the Labour leader again last Friday after the publication of the party’s manifesto”.
That’s a tad cosy, the Billionaire and the Labour leader, and also evidence of how Keir is cosying up to the wealthy at the expense of the poor.
There’s Keir (and Tony) yet again wooing the wealthy with Keir having convinced people like John Cauldwell that his Labour party are now the new Tories in town.
John said that he “has not given any money to the Labour Party but said “it is quite possible” he would in the future “if I think they have done an amazing job.”

What would an “amazing job” be for John I wonder ?
No helping the poor at the expense of the wealthy.
Keep those taxes low for rich people like John.
See that is where the UK is so corrupt as Billionaires think they can get to decide who wins in elections as in those political parties who they think serves them and their money best.
Mind you just as we predicted , we saw Labour yesterday being told by the English that they, the English people , do not want to vote for a copycat poundshop Reform UK party , as they , as English voters, just decided to vote for the real thing, as in they voted mostly for Reform UK.
The Labour party…….neither an alternative to the Tories nor Reform UK as a political party , so what is the actual point of Labour ?
Vote SNP in 2026 because you may begin to feel nauseous when you see what may happen with an alternative in charge of Scotland via a coalition of chaos and disruption.
BTW Channel 4 news had a correspondent state that these results in the local English elections yesterday was a seismic change in, checks bloody notes, British politics.
Hands up who knows what he would have said if this had been Scottish local elections and Reform UK had done well, would he have said the same thing as in this was “a seismic change in British Politics” , my guess would be no. Instead he would have stated this was a seismic change in Scottish politics’.
Why does Scotland always get dragged into their mess ? (Rhetorical Q as answer is so obvious).
