The Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald seems to be currently following the party line that the Scottish Government has failed to upgrade the Ardrossan harbour which they don’t own and is keeping quiet about the decades-long neglect of the harbour by the Manchester billionaire and tax evading owner of Peel Ports.
Last year however, James Walker had a piece in the local paper which exposes the same company of outrageous plans to charge everyone sailing on the Clyde, including those with boats as small as 6 metres..

It is all CalMac and the SNPs fault as they ferries they have built are to big for the harbour hardly a mention that the harbour is privately owned who has done nothing to upgrade the harbour. Sky report below.

Who is the billionaire owner getting away with murder. Tax evading and not paying taxes. The taxes could renovate the port.
The magnificent, innovative ferries saving £Billions in fuel. All some people do is moan about it. Most people and users are proud of the new ferries and admire the craft ship getting them going.
Gary Smith on BBC blethering utter nonsense. The Scunthorpe steel works being saved. Grangemouth going. Instead of renovation and new transference of projects. To keep Grangemouth and viable. The monies the Westminster Gov took from Oil & Gas. None of it came back. Disappeared to London to support ‘loads of money bankers’, crashing the economy. Funding the Tory Party. Thatcher and associates. Now Labour trashing the Scottish economy. Once again.
