A woman whose lung cancer was detected with the help of Artificial Intelligence has praised the “incredible” speed of her diagnosis and treatment. Diane McCallum, 60, was referred for a chest X-ray at New Stobhill Hospital by her GP in April this year after she had been struggling with a long-term, persistent cough. Her X-ray image was analysed by AI software, qXR, which flagged up an abnormality and placed it in a priority pile for examination by a radiologist.

It’s just not what Sarwar and Baillie like you to think about Glasgow. They prefer:

AI is not as it’s hyped up to be, some ‘superbrain’ capable of solving absolutely ‘everything’, it more accurately cuts through all the bullshit we’ve become so accustomed to in arriving at a conclusion, by simply examining the information – Throw the Grenfell Tower question at AI and I’d almost guarantee you will get a very different picture to that where the Inquiry is headed – That’s why politicians are so anxious to control development .

No, it does not “examine” info but mindlessly collating it.
Everyone SHOULD of course get what AI is REALLY all about but most people CHOOSE not to want to understand it …
