Thanks to one of our Anonymouses for this:
From the ‘Scottish’ Daily Express yesterday:
Shock figures show ambulance crews are assaulted EVERY DAY in the SNP’s lawless Scotland. Ambulance staff in Scotland were verbally or physically assaulted almost every day on average last year, with the abuse against the nation’s mercy crews up by 11%. The Scottish Ambulance Service recorded 346 shocking incidents in 2023/24 including cases of spitting, punching and threatening staff with bottles or other weapons. 1
All things being equal, with 12 times the population, the UK might be expect to be having around 12 cases per day?
From Sky News, today:
At least 55 ambulance staff attacked or abused every day, leaders warn. At least 55 members of ambulance staff are abused or attacked every day in the UK, according to leaders from the sector. Incidents include kicking, head-butting, spitting, verbal abuse, sexual assault and serious attacks involving weapons, according to the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE).2
Nope, 55, more than 4 times as many.
Why might this be? If it was the other way round, in ‘SNP lawless Scotland’, I know who’d get the blame.
Lawless Scotland, generally, really?
The crime rate in Scotland is lower than in England. In 2022/2023, the crime rate in England was 93.6 crimes per 1,000 people, while in Scotland it was 52.8 crimes per 1,000 people, [just over half the level]. This indicates that Scotland has a lower overall crime rate compared to England. 3
A bit like that Hitler, the more I read the Express, the less I like it.

Just heard on ITV news patients waiting 50 plus hours for a bed at Liverpool hospital no opposition MPs to give a view…. now if that was Scotland…..one patient even had to sit in his vomit and wee before getting a bed in agony.
