Poll – Only modest support for Nicola Sturgeon to lead independence movement among Yes supporters

Not a proper scientific sample I know, but a reasonably large response from an X account with nearly 11 000 followers 90 plus percent, for Yes, the above suggests quite limited support for the idea being widely touted, that former FM, Nicola Sturgeon, should now lead the wider independence campaign.

I’m agnostic on this. Some were less so:

  1. I don’t anyone that frightens westminster as much as Nicola. If anyone was up for taking on the liars, it’s her. Unhampered by office, she will be a lion.

  2. Nicola Sturgeon lead the people throughout the Covid pandemic, she kept the public informed was open about the advice her Government had received and had the advisors explain their position in layman’s terms so that everybody knew why and what they had to do.

The people not only felt involved, they knew that they were involved in controlling the outbreaks and saving lives because of her teams daily presentations and the open press questions that followed.

The UK Government looked on, totally unable to put a coherent plan together, as she and her team showed them how tackling a pandemic should be done.

So much so in fact that they are pursuing her to this day.

      No. I don’t remember that.

What was in them? Were they submitted during the ‘inquiry’? And who are “they”?

And how did “the security services” get the messages?

  4. I wouldn’t describe 39% as modest, she is clearly still popular. Not sure if it can happen with that never ending police investigation going on.

  5. Need new people. Elected leader. The support is increasing. Vote out all the unionists. Independence supporters need to vote. Higher turnout. Vote for Independence supporting Parties.
