More in Common and Find Out Now, sampling 1 500 and 2 300 respectively, on 26-27 November 24th, have the Cons 3% ahead of UK Labour, and Reform in 3rd or in 2nd equal place with Labour!
In Scotland, Labour are in even deeper difficulties for 2026.
More in Common have SNP at 27%, Cons at 20%, Labour at 19% and Reform at 16% putting the SNP, even with that modest figure, in a strong position to take constituencies thanks to Reform splitting the vote.
Find out Now have Labour in potentially shocking difficulties, in 4th place with 12% after SNP on 27%, Reform on 18% and Cons on 17%.
These are, of course, small sub-samples (undisclosed) of Scottish voters – around 140 to 220 – but, equally, unlike Scotland only surveys, not distorted by weighting based on the 2014 referendum result.

Yet the “Scottish” mejah have Anas Sarwar relentlessly heading to be FM. If they truly believed they would be howling to reject the budget and get an early election (then another in 2026). The Truth? They are petrified of the electorate.
Even Richard Tice of Reform boasts about placing the “crown” on the head of Anas.
A coalition of Labour, Reform, Toadies and Dumbs–a coalition of chaos you might call it!
But the polls don’t seem to matter for these pundits (propagandists), only their blinkered partisan bias.

According to some of the more dodgy newspapers that love to spread muck as opposed to spreading the ‘news’ in Scotland (and elsewhere too) , Richard Tice, the Deputy leader of Reform UK party, has said that his party could be ‘Kingmakers’ at Holyrood in the 2026 Scottish elections and that they will back Anas Sarwar to be the next Scottish FM.
Now not only is this a poisonous position for Sarwar to find himself in , as an assumed unwanted (?) support , but this declaration by Tice, would also be a poisoned chalice for Sarwar going forward.
As to be at the mercy of Reform UK party is not the best place to be , where one dreads to think what concessions and demands Tice’s party would then expect for their ongoing support of Labour as the potential new Scottish (minority) government. (You never know as it’s a long time until 2026 so it is possible).
However what is far far more significant in respect to this declaration by Tice is the fact that:
a) That they, Reform, could potentially get enough votes to finally have MSP’s elected in the Scottish parliament, where their natural soul mates are usually the Tories.
(Remember most current Reform UK party politicians are Tories at heart, indeed it has been announced that former Tory MP Andrea Jenkins, now a Dame, has now, like 30p Lee, joined the Reform UK party, the first of many Tories ? We shall see as there is indeed more that unites them than divides them as parties).
b) That Tice is confident that Labour is the party his party could align with in the Scottish parliament, something which traditional Labour voters would reject. (I assume).
(Though in Tice saying this it could just be him being opportunistic (again) based on Scotland having now elected 37 Labour MP’s in the last GE and also a message from him to Labour voters to give Reform UK their second vote as they would support Sarwar as FM).
c) The disruption and division that would be created in Scottish politics , and not a dividing line between independence and the UK, but a division between all of the pro UK parties fighting among themselves, incited by Reform UK now being in the Scottish parliament.
(while the electorate in Scotland would then be secondary -as per with pro UK parties- so then disregarded , with Scotland then unable to achieve real progress or maintain the benefits currently enjoyed by the public here via the SNP as the current Scottish government).
Reform UK is an English Nationalist party (badly) disguised as British, who would do their best to ensure that there would no longer be a distinction between what people in Scotland get compared to what people in England do not get. (so no more free prescriptions , free bus travel and free tuition fees etc).
Perhaps a famous children’s author could write the final chapter of her ditty that she wrote in 2014, where she could regale us with how lucky we all are now with us being in the ‘heady position’ of having the likes of Reform UK potentially being elected to our Scottish parliament, mainly as the Tories and Labour are so bloody useless as governments .
So those who , like her, were against Scottish independence in 2014 and now, will now vote for an uber English nationalist party in 2026 to generate hate, division and disruption within Scotland in the same way that they, as a party, have done in England.
Just think if we had voted YES in 2014 we could have said “expelliarmus” to all of this sh*t that has happened to us and may still happen going forward but with even worse consequences for Scotland.
I think it is official that as the world seems (yet again) to be going mad.
Sp does any or all of this then really equate to the SNP being the ones ,as a political party, who are really those who #BAD ?
I think not.

Once upon a time Louise Haigh , was a Labour MP , who was first elected as a Labour MP in 2015, as in 9 years ago. (and was also elected in 2017 & 2019 too).
Then the same Louise Haigh, was again re-elected as an MP and was appointed as the the new Labour Secretary of State for Transport in July 2024 by Sir Keir Starmer, the new Labour leader and new Labour PM.
Then in a TV interview in October 2024, she , Ms Haigh, urged viewers to join her in boycotting P & O Ferries, after the firm had sacked hundreds of it’s workers with immediate effect two years earlier, she called P&O “a rogue operator” and said it needed “cracking down on.
Haigh was publicly rebuked by Labour PM Keir Starmer, who stipulated that her view was “not the view of the Labour UK government”, in fact this incident came only days before a Labour UK government-led international investment summit, that P&O’s parent company, DP World, attended despite the supposed so called (by the media) “controversy” aka honesty (truth) of Ms Haigh’s previous statement.
However further proving that it seems that Labour UK and Keir Starmer are only willing to “deliver for certain workers”, but not apparently for those workers who were treated with such contempt and so atrociously by P & O Ferries two years ago, so one wonders which workers Labour and Keir Stramer purport to represent and deliver for ?
(Answers on the back of a stamp and not a postcard)
Now the plot thickens as Louise Haigh has now resigned as Transport secretary after it emerged that she pleaded guilty to a fraud offence a decade ago.
It was reported that “Haigh has admitted telling police in 2013 she had lost her work mobile phone in a mugging, but later found it had not been taken”.
“She was given a conditional discharge by magistrates, following the incident which happened before she became an MP”.
Ok , let’s do the maths here .
She was a Labour MP as from 2015.
She was then a Labour UK government minister from July 2024.
The ‘offence’ was in 2013, before she was selected as a Labour candidate in 2015 and then promoted by Keir Starmer in 2024 to a ministerial role.
So no checks were done by Labour when she was selected as a Labour candidate in 2015, after this fraud incident, or when she was appointed as a Labour government minister in 2024, so did she herself not ever reveal to her party that in her past she had plead guilty to fraud ?
Yet now after she suggested that the public boycott P & O , which the UK government were reported to be incensed by , as the owners of P & O Ferries, DP World, “were expected to announce a £1bn investment” as part of the Labour UK governments investment summit, then suddenly this news comes out re Ms Haigh’s past fraud charge !
So is it a coincidence that this news re Ms Haigh’s past fraud charge has now been leaked post her supposed (but not) faux pas in dissing this company ?
How could she have kept this fraud charge from her party ?
Did she keep this information from her party ?
How come her party never did checks relating to her past ?
How come it has only come out now , as in now that she has done something that both the Labour party and their leader, Keir Starmer, has opposed her doing in relation to P & O Ferries owned by DP World ?
I suspect that the Labour party , under Keir Starmer, will not tolerate any within the party who choose to act on either a point of principle or morality , as it seems that when money is involved then the newer Labour party cannot afford to pander to decency on behalf the so called “little man” (workers) but instead they pander to the wealthy companies and individuals so that they, Labour as a party, can retain power within their UK.
Breaking news on Louise Haigh well ‘Was the news of her past history a coincidence or was it considered to be a tactical necessity in it being revealed now by whom’ ?
Seems it’s not only water that leaks ….allegedly Ha Ha .

I read online that “66% of pensioners who have applied for pension credit have had their applications rejected”.
Remember with Labour UK cutting the Universal Winter fuel payment for pensioners, then their advise to pensioners who currently are not on benefits but who think that they may struggle to pay their (high) energy bills over winter, was for them, the pensioners, to then apply for pension credit.
In November it was reported that this decision by Labour to cut this payment then led to “150,000 applications for pension credit being submitted”
“With only 42,500 having been successful, with thousands being rejected and others awaiting a decision”.
The pension credit form that needs to be completed correctly to avoid rejection of the application is a 24 page and 223 question form, so think of the challenge and stress that then poses for many pensioners, who already are distressed about losing this fuel payment under a new Labour UK government and worrying about how to pay their energy bills, which as a Labour decision was a “Change” from that which even the cruel Tories did not decide to do when they were in power.
This so called ‘financial black hole” that Labour keep referring to and blaming upon the previous Tory UK government is not going to be filled by removing various benefits from different sections of society who are considered, as people, to be vulnerable.
As one would have thought that far far more could be accumulated financially to offset this so called “financial black hole” if the wealthier in society would pay more than they already do.
I’m struggling to accept that voters in Scotland would still vote Labour in subsequent elections based on Labour UK now proving that not all “Change” as promised is a “Change” for good.
However as Gordon Brown once reminded us “you need to read the small print” and I suspect that is where many voters were conned in July this year, as it is now obvious that the “Change” that they as voters assumed would occur with voting for Labour, was not the actual “Change” that Labour were referring to or rather intending to implement if they were elected as the new UK government.
So the UK has now had Tory UK governments and now they are trying a Labour one.
Unfortunately for those UK voters Labour are as bad as the Tories.
So some voters are now considering going the full hog in perhaps making an even worse and more catastrophic decision in maybe voting for Farage’s party Reform UK party in subsequent elections, because given all of the madness happening within the world, then they as UK voters are determined to generate even more madness in who they may vote for next.
Of course no one in the media or indeed from Labour, the Tories and also other pro Brexit rogue parties are highlighting the negative financial hit to the UK economy ( and Scotland’s too) that Brexit has caused.
“Economists and analysts at Cambridge Econometrics found that, by 2035, the UK is anticipated to have three million fewer jobs, 32% lower investment, 5% lower exports and 16% lower imports, than it would have had been. The report states that the UK will be £311bn worse off by 2035 due to leaving EU”.
Now that’s some “financial black hole” which the Tories have indeed contributed to in them implementing Brexit, however Labour are also to blame in continuing with Brexit , so they, Labour, are also culpable for further anticipated and predicted future financial losses (“Black Hole”) via Brexit to the UK economy. (and also to Scotland’s economy as well).

Independent Scotland would be far better off. More prosperous, equal and fair.
Reform will split the vote. Less unionist politicians. D’Houdt introduced to support unionism.
The SNP Scottish Gov are reintroducing the winter fuel payment, Job done. Another outstanding SNP victory. People who support Independence need to stop voting unionist and go out and vote. Job done.
Scotland will pay no more for excessive nuclear and mess will be sorted out. Trident dumped in Scotland by Kennedy (misogynist) and MacMillan in the 1960’s, secretly. Without authority or permission. Putting Scotland in danger. Greenham Common, nuclear base, 40 minutes from London. Shut down in 1992, after protest.
HS2, Hickley Point and Trident a total waste of monies. Westminster wasting Scottish revenues and resources. Brexit wasting £Billions. Farague has ruined the UK economy. Increased poverty and hardship. Getting away with £Billions and killing people. Trident and redundant weaponry losing £Billions and putting Scotland in danger. A total disgrace.
