Daily Mail – 100 children as young as 13 dealing drugs in Scotland coerced by dealers ‘always’ not ‘often’ from cities in England

The above image is from the Times in 2017! Seven years later Scotland’s media refuse to tell us about this plague of County Lines drug gangs – extreme violence, child abuse, new cheaper deadly drugs helping to maintain Scotland’s drug deaths statistics, prostitution and people trafficking.

Today, the Daily Mail which has in the past been more accurate, has:

More than 100 children as young as 13 have been caught supplying drugs in Scotland as charities warn growing numbers are being forced into crime.

Gangs are known to coerce vulnerable youngsters into trafficking drugs across the UK using so-called ‘county lines’ tactics.

The practice sees dealers from cities – often in England – expand their operation by forcing children to act as drug mules, carrying packages of heroin or crack cocaine on buses and trains.

I’m not sure why they are softening this fact. All County lines gangs operating in Scotland who first arrive in Scottish towns, to cuckoo vulnerable adults and take over their homes from which to deal drugs, from Dumfries to Wick and 30 to 50 other places are all from cities in England – London, Birmingham, Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle.

It looks bad for the Union or at least it would do if BBC Scotland, the Herald and the Scotsman told voters. Imagine the coverage and the local MP outrage, in England, if drug gangs from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness were doing the same across the Home Counties.

  1. As well as using rail services many drugs are brought into Scotland via fishing boats and oil and gas services. The UNION BONUS of the Royal Navy operates few vessels in Scottish waters, other than nuclear submarines, despite the fact that the vast majority of UK territorial waters are SCOTTISH waters.

  2. STV news this evening showing Yvette Cooper talking in Glasgow about ‘cross border co-operation’ highlighting bringing drug courier Stevenson to justice but of course omitting the very same English gangsters operating across borders in the UK.
