  1. With little or no media coverage I am baffled why the SNP do not use the few opportunities that present themselves such as at FM’s Q’s to educate /enlighten our fellow Scots about this and so many other things. It appears sometimes the only time the Scot Gov get any News/Media coverage is when they are apologising for some failing or other. They really must start blowing their own trumpets at every opportunity if they have any hope of overturning Labour at the coming Holyrood elections

    1. Yes and they need to make the comparisons between England and Scotland when talking about differences in policy etc. They do talk about the achievements in the work they do in government, Jenny Gilruth I think it was, the other day was excellent in handing some Tory MSP out for their attempts to blame the SNP government for cuts to the budget etc. You just don’t hear that reported unless tuning into Scottish parliament via their website or YouTube or, Broadcasting Scotland’s YouTube channel. 🙂

  2. The UK prison population is the highest in the EU. Neurodiverse undiagnosed with no support. People addicted to drugs and alcohol. Better to be in proper rehab, total abstinence, facilities. Link between drug and alcohol addiction linked to crime. Crime is a male gender issue.

    1. Please stop linking serious crime with people who have autism! People who are ‘neurodiverse’ are NOT more likely to commit crimes in fact very much less likely. People with autism and related conditions are very often averse to alcohol, they tend to have specific interests and sometimes obsessions, they are usually caring (it’s a myth that they don’t have empathy, quite the opposite in my experience) and are often too sensitive, and it is proven that they are TWICE AS LIKELY to be victims of crime as people without such conditions!
People commit crimes for all sorts of reasons, some addiction related no doubt, some are just evil people, some have mental health issues, yes some neglected by family, social services, communities etc, and yes some people with autism perhaps, but without diagnosis as you claim, how do you reach that conclusion I wonder. Your emphasis on attributing high crime rates to ‘neurodiverse’ people is simplistic and disrespectful to those who are wonderful, law abiding citizens, and much more vulnerable to being victims of crime, which is horrendous.
