The Ferret ‘fact-checker’ is punting another scare story to try to convince Scots that right-wing terror groups are active here and might trigger the same kind of riots seen in England and Northern Ireland.
Reading through their report, I see evidence of around 20 individuals, a few knives and no guns.
None of these individuals or wee groups has ever actually done anything.
Police Scotland estimate at least 55 County Lines drug gangs from English cities operating in Scotland, with typically 4 enforcers each and an array of weapons including guns.
So, English County Lines gangs – 200 plus enforcers, recent assault records, more than 1 000 weapons including at least 50 guns.
Scottish far-right groups – 20 members, no police record, one axe, some knives, a home made bow and arrow and six home-made bows?
Calm down, dear.

I don’t think downplaying the far right is the way to highlight the real risks to Scots from County Lines gangs from England. There are some very dangerous individuals involved on the far right, including at least one accessed of firearms offences.

Sorry, posted in haste and ran. I did mean accused. One of the regulars at Erskine was being investigated for firearms offences in Skye and I believe was breaking bail conditions by leaving Skye. The police in Erskine had to have this pointed out to them by the folk opposing Patriotic Alternative.

I would suggest police Scotland have been told to give the county line gangs a free run to destroy and undermine communities and of course keep Scottish drug deaths high

I don’t think I could go along with that theory. However, it remains a fact that Queen Victoria’s government did undermine the Chinese Imperial Army by giving them free drugs via the ‘Opium Department’ in India and then started a war to suppress China. Lovely people people the colonials. George Orwell’s father, Richard Walmesley Blair, retired as a Sub-Deputy Opium Agent 1st class. As a famous English actor once said in a film, “Not a lot of people know that.”

I would go along with that. It’s a perfect scenario to thwart the seriously crucial attempts by the SNP government to reduce drugs use and deaths in Scotland, and to reduce crime in general, quite often related to drugs use and drug pushing etc.
Scotland was known as the drugs capital of Europe and had the lowest life expectancy in the western world did it not, all while under English rule, it was deliberate and tragic.
Of coure the Brit state will go to any lengths to ensure that any progress in repairing visible and indeed not so visible neglect of communities in Scotland.
The legacy of the English rule in Scotland is absolutely shocking, masses of land stolen, poverty and destitution, resources stolen, and of course many many had to leave Scotland in order to find work and a life that was worth living, to other lands, that’s when they weren’t being forced onto ships and taken to Australia and N Zealand, if they survived the journey.
Police Scotland are it seems, under the control of the EngGov really, so they will do as told by such.
Scotland a colony in all but name.

“Anti-racism protesters gather across Scotland”
However one of these protests was outside the Scottish parliament ??
Not sure why, other than it being a well known location in Edinburgh, protestors should choose to hold a protest outside the Scottish parliament.
“Police had said that there was “no intelligence” to suggest there might be similar rioting in Scotland” ( as in to that in England ).
“There were chants of “refugees are welcome here”.
The BBC article then continues in stating:
“The chanting was also repeated in Glasgow’s George Square, where hundreds of demonstrators were gathered.
There was a large police presence but the event was peaceful”.
Then the BBC continued in stating that:
“At one stage, officers separated two counter protesters from the anti-racism demonstration”.
“One man with a sign reading “asylum frauds out” and another with a megaphone were approached by a group of anti-racism protesters who shouted “nasty scum off our streets” at them”.
(The “megaphone” had Union jacks on it)
“A short time later, the pair were escorted off the square by a large group of police officers”.
They, the BBC article, accompanied this part of their article with a photograph of the man with the sign and the ‘other one’ with the megaphone.
Guess who had the sign reading “Asylum frauds out” and guess who was holding the “megaphone” ?
Yep the one with the sign was Max Dunbar former BNP activist and the one with the “megaphone” was none other than Alistair McConnachie as in the duo who are always seen on the sidelines at most independence marches.
The BBC, in this article are actually pretending that they do not know who either of these men are.
Really ?
They, the BBC, do not even bother to mention that these same two guys always attend , as part of a pro Union counter protest, pro independence marches also with signs and always with a megaphone.
I guess the BBC has to continue their tradition of omitting certain information that may harm their UK and those supportive of it within Scotland.

There are no violent riots or protests in Scotland because Scotland has better governance. Devolution means Scotland can vote for better policies and a better Government. Independence would be even better.
The Scottish Gov tries to mitigate the terrible Westminster policies. Westminster attacking the old, the sick and the young. The Scottish Gov tries to care for vulnerable people with more empathy and support. Council tax freeze, prescriptions, bus passes, support for the young and the old. Support for education and students. Increasing knowledge of neurodiversity. Investment in renewables. Building Bridges, railways, hospitals, harbours and roads etc. Trying to make people’s lives better and reduce hardship.
The Westminster Gov wasted Scotland’s revenue and resources. Illegal wars resulting is the migration crisis in Europe. Tax evading. UK Gov not enforcing tax Laws. Financial fraud. Hickley Point, HS2, Trident, redundant weaponry, Covid fraud, non scrutinised contracts. Wasting £Billions. Including Scotland’s revenues and resources. Monies which should have supported, education, NHS and welfare was wasted by the Westminster Gov.
Iraq, Dunblane, Lockerbie kept secret for 100 years. So the culprits cannot be punished. A warmongering liar is now PM. Westminster decisions on 40% of Scotland revenues. A total waste by a malevolent, malicious Westminster regime. Beyond contempt. People are rioting and violently protesting in the rest of the UK.
Farague was illegally targeting people, who accessed the website and stealing their data. Gerrymandering. Giving it to Facebook to sell or misuse. Targeting voters without consent or authority. A criminal offence. For two years. Brexit. The same thing happened. Buying people’s data from Facebook, to target them. Illegally breaking the data protection Act, without consent.
