BBC Scotland haven’t noticed this yet but they will. Maybe they’re waiting for the Herald to write up a quick piece first as they did last year to misleadingly suggest a crisis here..
Look at that map! Scotland looks like the seventh most anti-semitic part of the UK but I know you know what’s misleading about it.
Scotland’s unified police force means all the cases are added up when, back in the day, there might have been 22 in Glasgow, 12 in Edinburgh, 3 in Dundee and Aberdeen and zero across the rest of the map of Scotland.
Here are the facts:
CST’s Antisemitic Incidents Report January-June 2024, published today, shows 1,978 instances of anti-Jewish hate recorded across the UK in the first six months of this year. This is the highest January-to-June total ever reported to CST, and higher than every previous annual total bar two: 2023 and 2021, when the record figures were also driven by anti-Jewish reactions to conflict in the Middle East. It is a 105% rise from the 964 antisemitic incidents reported in the first half of 2023, and 44% higher than the previous six-monthly record of 1,371 cases of anti-Jewish hate in 2021.
Scotland?
Scotland (40, rising from 14 in the first six months of 2023 – there’s the Herald headline?). 22 were in Glasgow, the same as in Cambridgeshire with only a sixth of the population.
Interestingly, 3 of the Scottish cases were linked to the Scot Cons, Scot Lib Dems and Scot Labour but none to the SNP.
Not clarified is the question – ‘How many of the Scottish cases are related to Gaza?’

A quick glance of the combined total figure for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales gives a double digit total, whereas the total figure for England is four digit.

Another good example of debunking.
I suspect that the response, if any. will be along the lines of either ‘the tip of the iceberg’ or the variation on the perfectionist fallacy, that ‘one case is one, too many’, followed by the generalisation from a particular, that, ergo, Scotland is antisemitic.

The definition has changed drastically to include a political entity as the subject of antiSemitism. In reality, it is criticism of a corrupt and genocidal Political Party.
