Journalist Michael Crick interviewed:
“Thinks it is disgraceful what has been going on with Labour. He said that as a self confessed Blairite and traditionally Labour right winger. I won’t be voting for Labour at this GE. The Stamerites have purged virtually everybody on the left. They purge them from being selected as candidates from the traditional selection processes that have been going on for the last three years. And in the end the left have up even standing. Then it was a complete waste of time that something will be found in their past that would disqualify them. Every party should be a broad church, and no matter what your politics, you should have some people on the other side, in your…in parliament, in your own, in the parliamentary party, or around the cabinet table. Because if all you have is Yes people there then you end up making bad decisions. Nobody challenges the Prime Minister. Nobody challenges the party leadership. And that is a sure recipe for bad decisions and a confident Prime Minister rather than a weak one, I think Starmer actually is a rather weak Labour leader in the way that he’s turned a blind eye to all of this. And a confident Prime Minister somebody like Clement Atlee or Harold Wilson or even Tony Blair was happy to have a sprinkling of left wingers around the cabinet table. In Blair’s case it wasn’t very many . But you did have Robin Cook and you did have John Prescott . Now I mean, if Angela Rayner, wouldn’t have been selected under the new regime and nor would John Prescott or Robin Cook, or Neil Kinnock or Michael Foot or certainly not Dennis Skinner, Nye Bevan or Barbara Castle. It really is a, it’s a mess, frankly. And I think that when Labour runs into trouble as a government, two or three years from now, as inevitably it will, maybe earlier than that, it’s going to come back and bite them and it will go down I think as one of the most disgraceful episodes in modern party Labour history. And I don’t know any previous example of it in the past.

The above is not , as criticisms, an exclusive nor a minority opinion upon Keir Starmer’s New New Labour party. However in Scotland our media are promoting their alternate pretend version of Keir Starmer and his Labour party…..they are platforming Anas Sarwar whose message at times , as in when it’s considered , by him, as an opportunistic moment, is contrary to the message we are hearing via Keir Starmer……as in the actual opinion of and direction as dictated by Keir Starmer for his Labour HQ party as the next UK government.
Anas Sarwar is pretending that we in Scotland in this GE , in (If) voting for Labour, are supposedly voting for Scottish (INO) Labour and that we vote for them, Scottish (INO) Labour , as a way to to oppose the SNP as the devolved government in Scotland….thus we are supposedly opposing their , SNP’s, policies and decisions as the Scottish government in choosing to vote Labour in a UK GE ????????…….but that is not what we are voting FOR in a UK GE……the media in Scotland are repeating that same message and false notion that Anas Sarwar and Labour in Scotland are who we here , as voters in Scotland, in a UK GE are voting for…..yet we know , as do they the media also knows, that any candidate for Labour elected in a UK GE will not sit in Holyrood with Anas Sarwar but will sit at WM with the actual Labour HQ leader Keir Starmer and the Labour HQ party as they , in this UK GE, hope to be the next UK government……………….
Forget the media in Scotland as they refuse to do their job…..instead listen to and read other media sources outwith Scotland to get the real picture and perception of what New New Labour are all about now…..the spin that the media in Scotland are trying to con us with on behalf of the Labour party is frankly disgraceful and perhaps journalists like Michael Crick might see the real travesty of what we in Scotland are subjected to constantly…..as in being gaslit by the media here all to save their (NON) Union….though ironically Michael Crick may actually condone that as a valid reason (and behaviour) for us to be conned by both the media here and also by Starmer’s Labour party….LOL
The idea that the SNP could lose (any) seats to the Labour party fills me with disgust and I know it is not because people in Scotland see Starmer or his party as the best option for them……….. but tis because of a combined media propaganda exercise to promote Labour here in Scotland while also the media are trying to impede the SNP plus some people here in Scotland, have wrongly assumed, that Labour are the lesser evil compared to the Tories as the UK government (current evidence proves that to be a false assumption)…….which is hardly an endorsement on Labour but more an act of desperation by voters here in Scotland that reflects how terrible it has been for them under the Tories at WM…..but the reality is that it will not improve or “Change” under Keir Starmer’s Labour party…..
If there was justice and honesty then the SNP would, in this GE, increase the seats that they have….as opposed to what some supposed ‘Pollsters’ have predicted in wildly conflicting polls…..where some even had the SNP in single figures as MP’s at WM and also had no impact in the amount of Tory MP’s elected here in Scotland…..thus somehow Scotland bucked the trend within the UK where it kept Tory MP’s in their seats while other nations in the UK are predicted to see Tory MP’s lose their seats…..aye right.
Vote SNP…..or …………if not then learn a hard lesson over the next four years with Labour in charge at WM……until the Tory party wins again in the subsequent GE….perhaps also with charlatans like Farage as a member of their Tory party, or even him in the HOL’s ……
A real “Change” and a real “Fresh start” will only, for Scotland, happen with firstly voting for the SNP then voting for Scottish independence…..the other fake versions of “Change” and a “Fresh Start” (Labour ones) are mere window dressing under the guise of election slogans…..empty ones that will not be fulfilled by New New Labour who will not implement any “Change” or any “Fresh start” for Scotland…..but as per the same old same old………..time some people really really woke up !

Lo and behold…..MSM Monitor tweets how Angela Rayner is lying…..come on….what what……really ….are Labour never going to “Change”……..I think some of these Labour shadow ministers need a “Fresh start” and thus they really need to start to come clean or rather become clean and stop lying for New New Labour and also for their new leader too…….as in Keir Starmer.
Apparently she, Rayner, tweeted on 3 June 2024 (yesterday):

Plus to reinforce the fact that she was lying in her tweet yesterday……she …….in 2016 supported unilateral disarmament by voting against renewing the Trident missile system…..Oh Dear…….awkward…..that’s a deffo………..
So what’s “Changed” then…..or rather what’s “Changed” is that the Labour party now have a new leader of their party.………….who has miraculously “Changed” so many Labour MP’s minds on matters that they formerly were either passionately opposed to or that they formerly supported……Hmm
Mind you there is also an astounding transformation via Labour MP David Lammy too…..as in based on what he Lammy , when Corbyn was Labour leader, supported and also what he stated he opposed compared to what he is now supportive of and also opposed to…..as in………….think the opposite of what he previously seemed so passionately opposed to like say him being anti Brexit & also anti Donald Trump…..but now……
He , Lammy, is a Brexit believer & we also read that he has been talking to Trump’s team in America…..so is his conversion (aka U turns) are, I would say, very much also linked to the new Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer……

He has also reportedly met Mr Trump’s campaign manager Chris LaCivita – in what is believed to be the first official contact between Labour and the former president in the run-up to the 2024 US election……..this is like an alternate Universe or parallel universe version of the Labour party as in the one you would not vote for if you lived in Scotland that is…..BLOL
I sense a pattern here………where former held principles via certain Labour MP’s, now shadow cabinet members, who can now see that they may have an opportunity to be in a Labour government…….thus they have now abandoned their former passionately held principles as the lure and lust for power and too a career progression/success in politics is hard to resist (and they also may be following Keir Starmer’s lead….in lying that is) ….. so to be at the top table in the Labour cabinet seems far more desirable and financially profitable than sticking to your supposed former principles that were, you once stated, so terribly terribly important to you as a person aka human being and also as a really really nice politician as in a “Decent sort”…… allegedly…..but now that is very much in doubt….or should be !
So alas tis now a case of ‘Eh by Gum I’ll gie yeh principles …..principles my A*** (rhymes with Sparse) from some (could be all of them really) Labour shadow ministers….Shadow being the the operative word or rather working ‘in the Shadows’………..LOL

Absolutely correct NMRN. Unfortunately due to health reasons I’m not able to canvass at the moment, but through the last decade the response we got from former Labour voting areas was, “Never again. Labour let us down” I find it difficult to believe that all those people, who felt they were betrayed, are now going to vote for an even bigger bunch of liars. Surely not, but if they do, well hell mend them. Trouble is, they take the rest of us with them, by condemning future generations of Scots to London rule.

LOL for some yes that is indeed very much the case….but………
I’ve generally found that a lot of people in this GE intend to hold their nose….and vote reluctantly for Starmer’s Labour party as they are frightened the Tories may get in again…….in Scotland that would be called a wasted vote…..as if you vote Labour you still get Tory…..as they , Labour, are just hiding behind another party name……so to be really safe vote SNP…..
God why do some people make it so hard for others…..I wonder how did we, in 2015 , get 56 SNP MP’s elected…..what the H happened to change that ??????

My husband and I (how Queenie of me LOL) will be posting election leaflets in our area as SNP members for our SNPMP Tommy Sheppard who has been a super MP for Edinburgh East & Musselburgh…..and the candidate for Labour for our area, Chris Murray, is also a member of the Advisory council for These Islands….which funnily enough he omitted to mention in his election leaflet that I got trough my door……. …………..

I saw that video before …..I also remember Starmer telling (lying to) people in Liverpool that he would never write for the Sun Newspaper (rag)…..then he did indeed write for them……..in fact he stated he would be “happy to continue to write for them”………….there is a name for someone doing that…..not a nice one….rhymes with the surname of the current Tory Chancellor……….LOL
So far all we have had via Starmer is U turns and lies…… pre and post him becoming Labour leader………so what are the chances that all of the pledges/promises that he and his party are making now will then actually be fulfilled if they, Labour, do win the UK GE……my guess is that his so called pledges/steps/lists/promises will be…………….
a) Watered down so much so they will be unrecognisable as the pledges they were initially supposed to be as explained by Labour HQ leader aka Chief Liar ….in his many speeches to con voters to vote for his party…..then we will be told….
b) No money to fulfil pledges/lists/steps etc etc as promised in the succession of pre election speeches made by the Labour HQ leader aka Chief Liar…….
There may be a lot of voters who might just end up feeling like Mugs in lending Labour their vote in this GE……which then I think will see them , Labour, in the future be once again in the political wilderness…..where they really belong and deserve to be……….LOL

Pre the Leaders debate on STV…..
Scottish Conservative chairman Craig Hoy said that “the debate would mean the first minister would face “scrutiny on his fixation with breaking up the UK”.
“He added Mr Ross would show how the party would “switch the focus from independence to the issues that really matter”.
“The FM would face scrutiny”….is Hoy having a laugh….as every SNP FM, including John Swinney, is always subjected to excessive negative media and opposition scrutiny and is never ever praised on positive and successful initiatives and policies implemented as Scotland’s FM and our government….while Craig’s Tory branch office manager, Dross, hardly ever gets any real scrutiny or relentless challenges from that same media in Scotland……
We, as a public in Scotland, were subjected to constant debates/discussions and an obsession via Craig Hoy’s Tory party with their Tory Brexit pre and post 2016……and we in Scotland did not even vote for it as a policy that we could, as a nation, endorse/welcome or even want to have to suffer as part of their UK……
So how many billions have been spent (wasted) on Brexit…..and how much time and effort trying to make it work….just how many different Tory ministers did we see as Brexit negotiators …….to try to negotiate the best deal that ended up not being the best deal for their UK……as in them all trying to do the impossible…which proved as a mission …impossible….and still it is , as a policy, S**** (rhymes with PLIGHT)….
And is Craig’s party, and he also, not fixated on the (non) Union….and keeping it intact to include Scotland…..and as to his assertion that Dross would “switch the focus from independence to the issues that really matter”…..well the issues that really matter have not been addressed by Craig’s HQ party as the UK government….indeed many of the serious issues that matter are impacting us in Scotland and have been, as serious issues and matters, the fault/blame of Craig’s Tory party as the UK government (since 2010)……..
So perhaps if Craig’s Tory party had “switched their focus” away from Brexit and also away from their precious NON Union (for financial reasons only)…..then we all might not have suffered so much with their Tory cost of living crisis, succession of Tory scandals, PPE corruption via VIP awarded contracts and the absolute useless Tory PM’s that did more damage than good (Johnson, Truss to name but two)….and with them, the Tories, as the UK government always ‘taking their eye of the ball’ via the economy and the dire state of public services in England and making their UK now a running joke of a state (not a country) in the world………then who the H does Craig Hoy think he is fooling…..himself that is who…..Mirror ….reflect….then he’ll see himself as others see him…..not a pretty picture……..like his fake image for his party and also the fake picture he is trying to portray the SNP and our FM as being………..where he, Hoy, like other Tories try to airbrush out their political party as the real bad boys (girls too) of politics………..LOL
