  1. I thought I would throw this in the mix non are really interested in Scotland otherwise they would under the law register in Scotland so come on all you extremist lets get rid of them have our Independence and lets see what they will do.

Is the Scottish Labour party registered in Scotland?

Scottish Labour is registered with the UK Electoral Commission as a description and Accounting Unit (AU) of the UK Labour Party and is therefore not a registered political party under the terms of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.

The Scottish Conservative & Unionist Party is part of the Conservative Party (UK) active in Scotland.

    Liberal Democrats

.This party is on the Great Britain register and is registered to stand candidates in England, Scotland, and Wales.

  2. Labour never built any new houses. Scottish Gov building or renovation 6,000 a year. 17,000 built by private builders. 50,000+ people die in Scotland a year. There are enough houses. Some need renovation,

Women who cohabit, the majority, do not have equal rights. They have to put in a claim within a year. 1/3. It can cost £thousands and take years. There is little legal aid. Women have to stay in abusive, unsafe place. In the south women can get leagal aid without losing the roof over their heads.

Letting agencies illegally charge six months upfront rent and deposit. Even to people with good credit. Putting up homelessness.

    1. Yep, of course it’s historic. There has been a ‘housing crisis’ in Scotland forever really since the English stole much of Scotland’s land and of course post WW2 when the EngUKGov were forced to embark on huge house building programme or face a massive revolt because those who did return from fighting a war for the oligarchs, needed housing and they were not going to rebuild England’s industry without homes.

Scotland was an afterthought, and so substandard ‘schemes’ (ghettos) were hastily built once England’s housing stock had been built. That legacy lives on, and now, re the cost of greed crisis and many not able to afford their mortages plus the massive number of holiday houses, second ‘homes’, and of course air b&b’s of which Edinburgh has 16,000(!). There is a shortage or affordable housing and that is going to get much worse with many people escaping England to live in Scotland for better services, clean drinking water, extremely attractive countryside on their doorstep (now they won’t be going abroad so much at all re EngBREXIT), and yep we have a massive problem in housing stock. It’s a tragedy and it’s not going to be solved overnight, and not at all while shackeld to the EngUK regime.
      Depressing.

  3. Westminster wasting £Billions on HS2, Hickley Point. Covid wasting £Billions on non scrutinised contracts. Trident, redundant weaponry, Brexit, tax evasion etc. Does not help matters. The monies could be spent on affordable houses, education and NHS.
