RISHI Sunak has mentioned “Scottish Nationalists” in a major speech referring to the “extremist” threats facing the UK…..meanwhile we are all old enough to remember when the Tories, under Theresa May as PM, sought an agreement with the DUP.
Where she made an “Extreme” kind of decision in giving one billion pounds, as a bribe to the DUP, in return for their support in the HOC to help her government win/pass votes in there………post the 2017 GE when she , as the new Tory leader, lost them their Tory majority that they, as a party, previously had before she called that 2017 GE…….
That’s the DUP, the same ones,, that many see as ones you could categorise as “Extremists” via their sectarian staunch beliefs…..which fall under the slogan of ‘No surrender’….that’s a bit extreme…. surely.
We, who support independence, are one of the most peaceful movements considering all of constant abuse, hostility and ignorance we are subjected to via an ‘Extreme’ pro UK hostile media and an even more hostile political opposition from pro UK parties…like Rishi Sunak’s Tory party.
Yet we are now , via Sunak, categorised as supposed “extremists” by a Tory leader and PM whose own party has been the focal point for most of the ‘Extreme‘ political scandals and negative publicity within the UK.
Tory controversial policies, cronyism, waste of public money, farcical mismanaged Tory government projects which are over budget and overdue e.g. HS2 (one of many #Fails) , whose government ministers and MP’s have used “extremist” language to describe those others that they seek to target and blame for their own party’s (government’s) failings and shortcomings ……..
But…..let’s be honest here the ones who are really risking the UK being a continued state….are people like Rishi Sunak & also his party….. who as a party have governed the UK via a succession of governments ‘steeped in chaos, scandals , incompetence & mismanagement’ via a succession of useless and ‘Extreme’ Tory leaders & PM’s (like Johnson & Truss)…..and now Sunak too….who as a Tory PM is seen , via the polls, as a ‘dead man walking’ kind of PM….
I mean who in their right mind would want to remain a part of a UK (over) ruled by the likes of them……with high energy bills, high food costs, loss of EU membership, high interest rates impacting mortgages, failing and underfunded NHS in England , failing and underfunded Education system in England, failing Care sector in England, aircraft carriers unable to sail the seas thus not fit for purpose, betrayal of Farmers & Fisherman post Brexit, unable to address the ever increasing Knife crime in England …..I could go on and on…..but that would be perhaps too “extreme” to highlight all of the Tory party, under various governments, being those, as a party, culpable in overseeing excessive damage in their UK and thus being seen as ‘Extremely” useless as (various) governments under (various) incompetent and ‘Extreme’ leaders and PM’s……
Where ,with one particular Tory leader (& PM) …….who resigned as PM after seven weeks…….after she crashed the economy, she sank the pound, put pensions in peril which now many working people are paying the price for……which as an act , was one that was most definitely, as an action, 100% an “Extremist” one (ironic too as all of this was done via her and her chosen Chancellor’s mini budget…but the result of that budget saw major negative ‘Extreme’ consequences for the UK’s economy)
Scottish Nationalists…“Extremists” ?
That’s like Mussolini calling Mother Theresa a Fascist , which as an analogy, is perfect when we hear the likes of Tory PM Sunak calling others, like us, “Extremists”……what a Jeremy Hunt he truly is……
I think we all know who, via politics, are the real “Extremists” in Sunak’s UK…..and his, Sunak’s, speech was a classic Tory PM speech projecting his own party’s guilt and failures upon others and too very much his own failings as a weak Tory leader (& PM)…..and thus giving us in Scotland, who support Scottish independence, another reason to add to a now huge list of reasons why people like us reject his “extreme” version of his UK (and his party)….and instead would prefer a more stable and successful kind of government (minus the constant hostile interference and propaganda input that we currently see/hear/read about from both the UK media and UK politicians) and too a more stable and successful country that has no place for “Extremists” views via the UK media or “Extremist” policies and language via pro UK political parties like the Tory party…and others as well……
So he, Sunak, can stick that right up his Tory pipe and smoke it….
I’ll give him “Extremists”.…what a ***** (rhymes with Granny)…..LOL

Sunak proving what a buffoon he is , why so many non white brits are the most extreme of extremes at present is strange nobody ever mentions it for fear of being called racist but its a truth and i would like an answer to it we really dont know much about these peoples lives and how they came to have high positions and extreme views.

I have emailed Sunak saying as I vote SNP I must be a terrorists and anyway there is no such country as the United Kingdom I doubt if I get a reply from that English Nationalist

Jings, I have never been so proud to be an extremist.

Obviously they, the “Extremist” Tories, have learnt nothing from the Horizon scandal and the suffering that many Postmasters/Mistresses endured……and also we see the Tory party dragging their heels on Waspi women getting compensation……who also have been failed by a Tory government on their pension entitlements being changed (extended age) for women who were born between 6 April 1950 and 5 April 1960. …..
Oh aye I think we know fine well….who the real “Extremists” are in Sunak’s UK …and that would be his party and their various criminally negligent UK governments….that takes from the poorest while giving (too much) to the rich……aka Tory donors.

Disgraceful though it is to hear such comparisons, bear in mind the recent legislation https://archive.ph/XGEZN which may be abused by government of whatever shade.
Public opinion over Gaza has continue to harden in face of a propaganda campaign to convince them the contrary view held by Labour and Tory leaders is the ‘correct’ one – The tell-tale in Sunak’s speech is ‘anti-semitism’, a much abused term when you know who Semites historically were and are – It is government who are ” abusing our liberal democratic values”, the most dangerous ‘extremists’ of all….

That’s what happens when you allow a clown to write your speech and then another clown to deliver it…..too much of a ‘hot potato’ , as an offensive statement, even for them to release to the so called news media ….
Redactions obviously made , in this instance, were apparently based on this being too offensive as language used that associated Scottish independence supporters as being within the same category as actual “Extremists”
It then was assumed to be, for the media, a tad too ‘Extreme’ for them to be able to highlight to the public….that is as in them daring to repeat….of course the real assumption via this being redacted in the media releases of Sunak’s speech was probably because in hindsight it was considered that this may have been, for some voters in Scotland, the final ‘straw that broke the Camel’s back’ in persuading more people in Scotland, as voters, to finally move over to the YES side…..and also perhaps voting for the SNP in the next GE.
Thanks to Social media this insult via Tory PM Sunak is being well promoted and unlike the MSM & rogue media press releases it is not being ignored……apparently social media exposes how easy the UK MSM choose to ignore insults made against people in Scotland supportive of independence ….while that same UK MSM are ‘quick on the ball’ when it comes to, what they promote as being #BAD and #RIFE , in respect to anti Semitism within their UK…..rules for some and rules for others….clearly the rule for Scotland re independence supporters….. is that people like us are fair game for any abusive treatment via pro UK politicians and their pro UK media…..I believe the favourite description for us via The Daily Express is that we are “Nasty Nats”…..now that , as a term, is indeed one that could be categorised as EXTREME especially considering their own newspaper’s contribution to tabloid Churnalism where they, as a tabloid, are considered within the UK to be part of the more “Extremist” section of the Gutter press….

I see STV are up to the same old tricks as BBC Scotland this morning , exaggeration , they lead with a story about a sandwich company in england whos sandwiches and wraps etc have been recalled gecause they are contaminated with listeria but although every news outlet in the uk says the risk is listeria , STV says the risk is meningitis , yes you can get meningitis from listeria but its very rare nobody else except STV describe the risk as meningitis .I expect BBC Scotland will go one further and report the risk as ” DEATH”

O/T On the UK and Health pages of The BBC News website this morning (14 May): ‘Life-saving overdose drug to be given without prescription’.
It’s about extending of availability in England of naloxone, the drug given in an emergency to those at risk of death from an opioid overdose. The same story featured in news bulletins throughout Radio 4’s Today programme.
Much praise for the UK government in taking this decision!
No mention of Scotland’s world first in making naloxone widely available for emergency use.

As people vent about Labour (Starmer) letting Natalie Elphicke defect to their party…..just remember that Frank Field, Kate Hoey, Gisela Stuart, Ian Austin, and John Woodcock, five former Labour MPs were awarded peerages in 2020 by……….Boris Johnson the Tory leader & PM !
Former Labour MP John Mann was also awarded a peerage in September 2019 by….Theresa May a former Tory leader & PM in her resignation Honours list…( there was a row over her decision to give Mann a life peerage and that the independent watchdog on Lords appointments warned it would set a dangerous precedent and could be seen as a bribe for his support of her Brexit withdrawal bill)…..
Some of the above former Labour MP’s resigned form the Labour party due to Corbyn , the then Labour leader, being too socialist in his politics and rhetoric though some of them used another (weak) excuse for their leaving the Labour party under Corbyn…..they now all sit as either non affiliated or as crossbenchers in the HOL’s……Frank Field passed away in April of this year.
John Woodcock, Ian Austin & Gisela Stuart urged voters to vote TORY in the 2019 GE (With their peerage benefactor Boris Johnson as Tory leader & PM)…and in July 2019, the then Tory Prime Minister Theresa May, appointed the then Labour MP John Mann as a government advisor on antisemitism…..
These former Labour MP’s are truly indictive of who the Labour party are and what they really represent as a political party…..that is they are not a party that supports or endorses any form of socialism but instead are the embodiment of what we are now all witnessing with Keir Starmer as their leader via his New New Labour party….as in they are the Red Tory party…..in all but party name…..perhaps he, Starmer, can even persuade these former Labour MP’s, now within the HOL’s, to come back to the new Tory party as in his New New Labour party…..and one does wonder who among them in this forthcoming GE will now still state ‘Vote Tory’ or may now abandon their former true party, as in the Tory party, and so state ‘Vote New New Labour’…..the new Tories in town….
The Labour party has had (and still does) more than enough ‘villains’ in their ranks that equal the obnoxious former Tory MP and now New New Labour MP, Natalie Elphicke….once more voters in Scotland realise that then perhaps they can be dissuaded from lending their votes to Starmer’s Tory party in all but party name in the next GE…..here’s hoping…..though they will not be persuaded to do that via the media here….that’s for sure….as the media here have (an)other political ‘Fish to Fry’….

Wasn’t Brexit all about taking back control to better run our own country? In which case it too must have been an extremist act – so why are Brexiteers not being labelled as extremists?
To answer my own question – because Sunak himself was, and still is, a Brexiteer. He wouldn’t want to go down in history as the biggest little clown in politics.
