Remember that big Holyrood vote against the SNP yesterday? WTF is it today BBC Scotland?

There it is! See it? Not even getting its own wee box.

This is very odd.

The BBC News website’s Scotland pages published an article on 30 April entitled: ‘Scottish government to face vote of no confidence’. Factual so to be expected – normal.

This evening (at 2200 hours on 1 May) I can see no mention on the BBC News website of the result of the vote of no confidence in the Scottish Government that took place today. Anyone noticed coverage? Lack of coverage to be expected? Normal? Hardly – candidly very odd!

A Labour defeat and an SNP victory with Scottish Greens support is not newsworthy for the BBC website’s Scotland editors?

And the spectacle of an Alba Party MSP voting with Unionists not newsworthy either?

One wonders what calculations the BBC News website editors in Scotland made to omit all this?

  1. I wonder if Sarwar agrees with this.

Vaughan Gething should hand back £200,000 taken from a company owned by a man prosecuted for illegally dumping waste, a former Welsh government minister has told the Senedd.

  2. The Scottish Government winning a VONC should surely be seen as a significant story worthy of the main headline….but as it is the BBC then only if they, the Scottish government, had lost that vote would it then be their, BBC’s, main headline…..for days and days and days…..etc etc etc

Just checked…story still not there …but they do still have the story on the VONC as an event that will take place (via the BBC who bring you your up to date news as it happens….not)……which backs up the theory that, Labour’s VONC in the Scottish government still going ahead even after the FM resigned, was, as an action, purely done for political reasons and also to keep the momentum on what is obviously the current political and media craze…..as in #SNPBAD.

Can BBC Verify Unit inquire why BBC Scotland’s website is omitting this story…..if not I can verify that it is very much for politically partisan reasons…..LOL

  3. It’s incumbent upon us all to inform our misinformed families, friends and acquaintances of the utterly misleading p*** that BBC Scotland in particular and MSM in general, spout on a daily basis.

It is time for an independent rebuttal unit.

  4. As if we didn’t already know, but this really does confirm that the ‘BBC’ is a Brit state propaganda outfit and nothing more, and they have the people terrified into forking out their hard earned cash for it via the ‘license’. Clever. Though not sure it’s just a Brit state outfit now, given who Sunak is best pals with. Crikey.
