Redfield & Wilton always predict SNP leads at barely half that of other pollsters

8 of the last 20 Holyrood polls since the beginning of July 2023, have been by Redfield & Wilton. That in itself and their common arrival just after another pollster giving the SNP a larger lead over Labour, is notable.

The average lead for the SNP over Labour in these polls has been 4.6%.

The average in the other 12 polls by different pollsters has been 7.75%. That’s a big, statistically significant difference given the use of the same questions and broadly the same sampling. Perhaps their samples are skewed toward the elderly and those living in non-SNP constituencies. I haven’t been able to look at that.

On three occasions in the above set, R&W polls have appeared within days of other pollsters suggesting SNP leads of between 9 and 16% and modifying the media reactions to those.

  1. Pollsters always get it wrong. Especially in tight margins. Pollsters censored and fined many times. Acting illegally. Illegal data and breaking the private data protection Law. The Laws are not enforced. No one goes to jail. A total waste of public monies. Ripping off the taxpayers.

Facebook targeting people. After personal voters details are sold to pollsters. Illegally. Breaking data protection Laws. Cambridge Analytica, along with others, censored and fined so many times. No one went to jail for gerrymandering. Another Westminster fail. Pollsters given honours for breaking data protection Laws. The usual manipulation for getting it wrong. Trying to influence the vote for illegal donations.

A corrupt industry.trying to influence people’s vote, for a fee. Manipulating millionaires. Wasting private and public monies for shysters. When did pollsters ever get it right? To much emphasis is put upon.

Political manipulation and manoeuvres. Gerrymandering. Making money for Hedge Funds illegally. Electoral Commission not fit for purpose controlled by Westminster. Gaslighting. The end result ie ‘how can they get it so wrong’. All the false excuses. Off with all the loot. The Bookies get better results and wades of cash. Pollsters ge5 it wrong and make up excuses. After defrauding the voters. The piper pays the tune. Ashcroft etc all political manoeuvres.

A racist, misogynist bigot gives illegal gains to a political party. Wasting public money. Illegal profits, buying business by giving backhanders to vile political parties. A total waste of public monies that could be better spent. Farcical. Getting business by bribing public officials. Laundering and recycling public monies. Illegal. Trying to influence Gov policy.

Liars always get found out. Cash for honours still going on. Trying to keep it secret under the official Secrets Act. Shysters and corruption at the heart of Westminster Gov. Not happening in Scotland. No honours in Scotland. A fairer more equal society.

  2. Sorry O/T

    Quote ‘ Downright Bloody Dangerous’

The above was said by Stephen Flynn in Parliament good on him but I just wonder if that is not un parliamentary language and if so why did the speaker not pull him up this gets more stupid.I would like SNP members now to use the word bloody more often and see what the speaker does then. If it was me I would be using much stronger words and would get thrown out every week.

No fan of Lab but the treatment of Diane Abbott by the speaker says a lot about him being under the control of Stammer and Sunak.
