Scots are sick and tired of BBC Scotland’s heavily biased reporting against the Scottish government and Scotland. The latest example is the wall to wall coverage, which has gone on for two weeks, of health secretary Michael Matheson’s iPad roaming bill, which he has paid. But the negative stories keep flooding in. The BBC Scotland website has posted 8 reports of which 6 are still prominently displayed on their propaganda website, despite Matheson doing the right thing – owning up and paying the bill.[1]
Here’s some real criminality. In 2020, Baroness Michelle Mone funnelled £203m via the VIP fast-track to PPE Medpro, run by her husband, Doug Barrowman. After 3 years of Mone and her hubby flatly denying any involvement with MedPro, they finally fessed up this month. That’s after Barrowman pocketed £65m from PPE Medpro’s profits and transferred £29m into a trust fund for Mone and her 3 grown kids.[2]
Yet BBC Scotland’s website has just one story on Mone, and it’s not about her lying and illegal pandemic profiteering, but her marriage breakup.
Nowhere will you find a story about the Scottish government spending £42m on 153 more training places for doctors next year to meet growing demand.[3] Rather, BBC Scotland politicises health issues, regularly seeking comment from unionist politicians. BBC Wales, England and Northern Ireland don’t do this.[4]
The reason is obvious. The UK can’t afford to lose its last colony, its Scottish cash cow, so the British State mouthpiece is working overtime to malign the Scottish government and demoralise its people.
To stop the lying and the abuse, the Scottish People must rise up and reclaim their nation.

I don’t know whether you have ever gone around the doors Leah, canvassing, leafleting, but I have for many years, for both Independence, and the S.N.P.
If you have, then you will know that the level of ignorance is simply astounding.
And why? Simply because of the relentless brainwashing by the M.S.M, led by the B.B.C, either telling outright lies, or by spinning the stories with the help of the Fifth Ciloumists, Unionist Politicians, in our midst.
Unless there is miraculous realisation, and I can only hope there will be, then I don’t see Independence happening for many years

Alex, I don’t disagree at all with your assertion that it could be many years, we are after all dealing with a hostile Westminster government and their Blue and Red Tories representatives in Scotland all waiting for a “wee gong” for services to the British State.
The fact that some folk still have faith in BBC Scotland and the likes of the Herald, Scotsman etc is indeed holding back Scotland’s self confidence and its rightful return to being the master of its own destiny.
However, the circulation of the of the Scotsman is so low, I doubt that it actually counts as a newspaper anymore, the Herald is going in the same way. BBC Scotland in my opinion are not a “news organisation”, they are a propaganda outfit and nothing else. They are losing viewers and listeners at high speed, as either folk see through them and what they are up to, or are no longer wasting their money to pay for a TV licence.
Once folk realise they are being lied to, as more and more folk in Scotland seem to be, then the State propaganda fails and the “Scottish Media / BBC Scotland” become ever more exposed and ridiculous.

😦 Yes support for Scottish independence should be at least 65%, given the absolute state of the so called UK under English rule.
Let’s hope the SNP’s strategy to counter the BritNat propaganda has an effect. They need to put out leaflets, in fact booklets, to every home in Scotland about Labour’s terrible legacy, ie debt re their PFI scams, and sending £billions back to WEstminster as well as denying women workers equal pay and spending huge sums of public money to take them to court etc.
Then list ALL of the mitigations they are having to implement in order to keep people from literally starving in Scotland, and of course all of their positive social democratic, social justice, equality policies and the monetary support for the most vulnerable and of course against all odds protecting and keeping the Scottish NHS going etc.
Not everyone looks at their website or social media, many as you say, take the BBC et al BritNat propaganda as gosepl, otherwise the BritNat state would not deploy such underhand tactics. They are experts at it so the SNP really needs to more proactive in countering BritNat propaganda.

The BBC’s website ONLY reference to Michelle Mone is via their Scotland page and a DR headline story on some woman being arrested in a plot to blackmail both her, Mone, and her husband……but that is only via ONE of many newspaper headline stories they show on a page displaying what the papers say…with NO input from the BBC.
Elsewhere some newspapers are reporting that Gove and Hancock are being questioned on their involvement in the PPE scandal involving her, Mone, BUT the BBC do not want to touch this HOT POTATO…..in fact you would think she was not a Scot given the reluctance of the BBC here in NOT promoting this ongoing police investigation and scandal …..and we thought that police investigations and scandals were the BBC Scotland’s GO TO kind of political stories especially if it involved a SCOTTISH connection……..but then I guess that depends on the Scot(s) involved……indeed in the UK politics page NO reference is made to Gove and Hancock being questioned….BUT they have room for this “Salmond launches action against the Scottish government” on their MAIN UK politics page……so it does really reinforce WHO they want to protect and who they want to harm politically does it not.
Of course the question really should be : If other news media are reporting a story but the BBC are not….then why is that ?…….we all know the answer and we live in hope others will eventually catch on as well……but in the BBC world £11,000 is MORE shocking than £29 million…..and one is connected to the SNP and one is via a Tory peer…..and thus the lowest amount is THE one that deserves a multitude of stories via the BBC here while the higher amount gets NADA from the BBC…..and the £29 million really is PART of a BIGGER UK scandal during the pandemic (currently VERY topical via inquest ongoing upon the UK government) and that £29 million is but one dodgy contract awarded for PPE equipment where other contracts also awarded, involving millions of pounds, were to those who were in some way connected directly or indirectly to the Tories)………….(Friends, relatives and donors)….
BBC Scotland …….the BRITISH version of news in Scotland…..hence why they do what they do……
