From India Education Diary, yesterday:
Over the last three years, M2M Ferries has maintained a remarkable 99% punctuality record.

Scotland’s CalMac ferries fall well short of that 99% with only 95.4% reliability.
In 2020, one of M2M’s ferries capsized chucking all 80 passengers in the sea. All were rescued.
Comments under a report from Republic World point to overcrowding on the ferry.
In December 2022, another M2M ferry crashed into a jetty.
A Mull councillor is reported as telling Reporting Scotland:
99% is not even good enough for me and if you want businesses like mine to thrive on cheap imported meat and not have to buy the locally-produced stuff, the local Jocks will just need to man up and accept a few extreme-weather sinkings, deaths and injuries to enable me to employ them on the minimum wage and no tips!

Advice to the councillor – If he doesn’t like the service sell up and move back south. None of the “Jocks” asked him to move north in the first place

“99% is not even good enough for me”……I assume you jest re this as no one would willingly subject themselves to be ridiculed in making such a ludicrous statement…LOL
I suspect however this could potentially be what could or would be said by those currently complicit in their combined determination to keep THIS topic, Ferries, alive…. and that even 100% would, as a service provided….though impossible to attain, would also not be “good enough” for any of them……indeed they would ‘move on’ to forensically explore and then promote yet another ‘angle’ that they had concocted via this subject…..to then add their preferred prefix before the word Ferry…as in “controversial” or their preferred suffix…as in “Fiasco”…….to emphasis tis all , as a result of, a case of #SNPBAD.
Indeed even with the BBC online stating that “A lawyer-led investigation prompted by BBC claims that a controversial ferry deal may have been rigged has found no evidence of fraud”(note that although NO evidence of fraud, they, the BBC, STILL refer to it as “Controversial”)…..as they the BBC here, are those who have adopted the mentality of those who 100% represent THE British Bulldog media in Scotland and will, it seems, just not let this subject GO….for reasons way too obvious now to even be worth noting as like all other ‘stories’ they cover in Scotland…..every ONE of these stories must equate to #SNPBAD and also very much that #ScotlandIsSh*te…….as they assume every little (BIG) bit helps….but not HELP us in Scotland ….but HELP only THEIR UK and those political parties who support it.

I’ve imagined that but inspired by the one who did actually claim CalMac was the worst in the World
