I should be honoured I suppose as the Herald’s Tom Gordon accuses Clair Haughey MSP of sharing my post pointing out the failure of the Modern Studies department in which the Labour candidate for the Rutherglen and Hamilton West works.
According to Jackie Baillie:

Hmmn. The attack was actually on behalf of the schoolchildren, and on the teachers including the UK Labour candidate, who seem to have let them down badly based on the 2023 exam results.
The UK Labour candidate for Rutherglen and Hamilton West seems to have spent more time running the streets of Glasgow and on getting the Labour UK nomination from Sir Keir than teaching the pupils.

Indeed ….but then any article via those supportive of independence, and too any tweets retweeted by any SNP politicians, will always be the ones, via the media and opposition, that are deemed to be seen as “controversial” , “reprehensible” and declared as indulging in “Gutter politics”……
While the media themselves and too opposition politicians who indulge in much worse behaviour online are apparently those, who we the public, should not consider as ones who should be condemned for their badly judged and controversial statements, retweets and too news articles regarding the SNP…indeed one could argue they, opposition politicians, are never challenged or confronted with the same vigour and negative reaction via the media…. when they themselves are observed to be acting or speaking in a controversial and reprehensible way and too when they indulge in their version of “gutter politics” and choice of retweets….
Strange that SOME of the media ( Daily Express) who chose to condemn your article are the same ones who target immigrants and thus are THEMSELVES inciting hatred and negativity and thus they too often are seen to indulge in “gutter politics” all to reinforce the Tory policy regarding immigration (plus their headlines on the SNP can only be defined as gutter politics at play)….alas they are also a paper renowned for their conflicting headlines….as many examples of this have been shown online….so kudos to you if they choose to target and condemn you as it shows you at least are doing something worthwhile and right….and also shows that TRUTH does sometimes HURT…as in HURTS the right ones….
More power to you I say…..if they are collectively attacking you then you are obviously hitting the RIGHT spot….cue more faux indignation ….from those (apparently) without sin who will blatantly cast the first ( and other) stones at others while they sit perched upon their Glass houses….

I think ‘Not-my-real-name’ hits the nail on the head and that you must be hitting the right spot! It is good to know that your articles are read by members of the Unionist MSM too! Although they may not reference them I suspect they are having some influence (or maybe I’m just too much of an optimist!). Thanks again for your rebuttals of the nonsense we see in the Unionist MSM.

Cherson…I think it is what we often call them collectively ‘Circling the wagons’ to protect one of their own….by which I mean one who supports the UK….as it seems the client media (Red(dish) and Blue) from all newspapers are putting their ‘tuppence worth in’ on this matter…..cue the Scottish (INO) Tories contributions on this ….that should be fun or rather should I say …..will be hypocritical…..not that they will care….all part of their “day job” ….as one of the official PROTEST parties who sit in a parliament that they often fail to protect, support or uphold against the one doon in London aka WM….
Enough from me …I have a night out to go to….but alas I cannae drink as I am the official designated driver…..again.
Have a nice evening everyone

The truth hurts unionists. Those who can do. Those who can’t join unionist parties. There are few of them. Candidates few and far between.

I presume you’ve seen this version https://archive.ph/BQYCA which appears to have been penned from the same script rushed out by Labour’s PR crew to Tom at the Herald as a damage limitation exercise to all that unravelled from the original piece.
It rather puts that article’s opening into perspective, “Some of you won’t like this and I’m ready for some indignant flak”, who knew even Monica Lennon knew of your “vile blog”… 🤣
I’d bet the visitor numbers will through the roof though…
Yet top prize for hypocrisy goes to Baillie’s quote above, her media statements over the released results data would appear NOT to have been “a pathetic attempt to score political points” or be the adventure in “gutter politics” that everyone interpreted it to be after all, who knew she was thinking of the children…..
Very well done indeed, you hit an exposed nerve….

Yes, as the saying goes, there’s no such thing as bad publicity, except and unless it’s about the SNP. The BritNats certainly don’t have to try too hard or shout and blabber too loudly, to get themselves on the TV or in the daily right wing and pretendy left wing propaganda comics.
Labour branch even have a YouTube ad out about how wonderful they are, (I only see it until it gets to ‘skip ad’) I wonder where the money comes from to pay for that. Their faux sincerity and faux concern for anyone but themselves, is just absolutely vile.
