The Herald headline above is well-chosen to protect the Labour leader in Scotland.
You might be forgiven for thinking that Sarwar was always aware of the shady nature of the Labour donor, Mirza, and was comparing him to the Trump we know today.
He wasn’t.
First, this was in 2017, when Trump was best known for his popular plans to build a wall to keep out the brutal Mexican criminal drug gangs.
Second, he was expressing genuine admiration for Mirza and applauding the idea that he too might build a wall between Pakistan and India.
Third, Sarwar was milking a highly controversial and dangerous issue – border conflicts between two nuclear powers which have already resulted in wars – to please a partisan nationalist audience.
This is the man who thinks he can call us ‘Nats.’

We all know why that association will be glossed over……not focused upon….or presented as a lack of judgement……via Anas Sarwar…..as there is a By-election to ‘win’ (they all hope) in Scotland for Labour….so we cannot have the media stir up any negativity connected to Sarwar…..all quiet FOR the Scottish Labour front….
I mean if we are talking “walls” did Ed Milligan not present a hostile position should Scotland vote YES in 2014….armed guards at a border between us and England he predicted….now that was a tad Trumpish was it not…..however as a hostile position it was one of many things that has not been RAKED up that was said and done via the NO campaign……..unlike the ‘once in a generation’ response that is misrepresented as coming from the YES campaign and taken totally OUT of context….
When you are protected BY the media there is NO limit to what you can get away with….while simultanously when the media are collectively trying to bring you down then there is nothing, no matter how trivial ,ridiculous or indeed contrived, that they will NOT do to accomplish their mission…..that is pretty much what we get via THEIR media that THEY control here in Scotland….as in NO real media at all willing to do their job…other than work FOR those political parties who support the so called, but NOT really, ‘Union’….. whose mission is also to bring down the SNP and thus they hope any opportunities for us in Scotland to vote on and then vote FOR independence…..that is the bottom line.
They all fear the break up of their UK…and their (not so) Great Britain…..and we all know why do we not….no matter how hard they try to dress it up as if all of their efforts are for different reasons…..non credible ones to us…..as in given who they are and what they seem to represent…..their past and current sins cancel out their ‘concern’ for us…..we know their real concerns are ones that are closer to (their) home than to our country….but rinse and repeat hostility and negativity upon the SNP and too independence is their chosen formula .
Politicians like Sarwar will always be protected from bad publicity because he, as a small cog, in Labour HQ’s wheel , serves a purpose ….insignificant he may be but presented as if the opposite….forget SCOTTISH Labour…..they only exist because they insist on using the prefix SCOTTISH….to fool the voters here to believe they are somehow a separate entity from Labour HQ…..they are NOT…….but their media will never highlight THAT relevant fact…..thus Sarwar as one of THEM is given carte blanche to associate with whoever and whatever he wants….with no consequences that will impact Labour politically because they Labour and their media will do their bit in muddying the waters…..
Pretty much a parcel of twenty first century ROGUES….

Anas Sarwar is a cut-price version of his father , Mohammed Sarwar . Sarwar senior was a cunning business man and knew which political party best served his interests in Scotland ( and in Pakistan ) when he was looking to get his hands on a lucrative MPs job .
Junior Sarwar has been trying to emulate daddy but does not have the smarts to understand that he has hitched his wagon to a vehicle which is destined for the knackers yard .
