Child poverty – Who did the research for the SNP?

The media reporting has commonly used the term ‘commissioned by the SNP’ and BBC Scotland used ‘produced for the SNP‘ but none have given details of the status of the research group – UKMOD. Note the not-so-SNP-friendly logo?

Always, the SNP research suggesting 80 000 affected by the two child cap, has been weighed against the more modest 20 000 suggested by the House of Commons Library.

Why are the researchers used by the SNP not fully described?

Based at the University of Essex Institute for Social and Economic Research, UKMOD do research for policy-makers at the EU, UK, Scottish and Welsh governments. These people are ‘top of the tree’ in terms of credibility and should be described as such but ‘research produced for the SNP’ allows doubt to be introduced.

  1. Do not trust anything done by England , there is a propaganda war being raged against Scotland by Englands Westminster and much as we would not like it there is no doubt that anti Scottish sentiment pervades every aspect of life in England as a result of Westminster output supported by the BBC Radio and newspapers .

Just as USA instils anti Russian and anti China elements in their media wherever possible England are doing the same to Scotland

Once you notice it you can’t unnoticed it

  2. Who does the ”research” for Sir Kid Starver when he constantly claims that the Scots don’t want independence , hate the SNP Government or that Scottish (sic ) Labour are on the cusp of being relevant ?
My guess would be a combination of McTiernan , Damn Jackie Baillie and The Tooth Fairy !
