How will the Herald present rail fares in England increasing by 23% more than Scotrail?

Above in the ‘good old days’ for the Herald when they knew how to report those SNP trains and before they got those SNP ferries.

Today:

Rail fares in England will rise by up to 5.9% in March after what the government called “its biggest ever intervention” to keep the cost of travel below soaring inflation.

ans

ScotRail fares have now increased by 4.8% following a freeze since January 2022. The rise will not apply to season and flexi tickets to ensure the most frequent travellers are not impacted.
