Today, the millionaire and the son of a business refusing to pay workers the living wage, gets angry about his council tax increase.
I know his researcher has checked but quickly ignored these facts:
Scottish council tax payers are getting the best deal in Britain, paying on average £590 a year less than they would in Tory-run England, and £423 less than in Labour-run Wales. Meanwhile, the average increase in council tax, for 2022/23, is smaller in Scotland (3%) than it is in England (3.5%).

These are despicable people who have money but complain about paying any sort of tax be it council tax or income tax they just don’t want to pay anything of course they know the lie is well and truly debunked that tax pays for services and benefits they know that services such as the nhs and benefits such as social security is paid for by government simply by spending money because government makes the money they just print it , okay there has to be balance in an economy and you cannot keep printing and spending money non stop but they can certainly spend whenever they want to and then use tax to balance by control of spending.
People who complain about tax are often the ones paying huge sums to accountants to find ways of avoiding tax without anyone finding out about it

Paid a good salary and expenses from public monies. Getting dividends from family business. Held in kind. Then complaining about paying a bit more tax. To help the poorer. Cold hearted Labour. Illegal wars, financial fraud and tax evasion. Very Labour unionist.

Slightly OT, but only this evening when scrolling down the BBC/Scotland/Politics page, my attention was caught by “The Anas Sarwar One” dated 1st July with a pic of Nick Robinson, the “He said nothing” man, in arms crossed pose with the subtitle “Nick Robinson talks to people who shape our political thinking about what shaped theirs”
Shome Mishtahe shoorley, Anas Sarwar ? Shapes whose political thinking ?
Presumably Saint Nick had been drafted in to give Sarwar’s failing credibility in Scotland a boost…..
