Standing on Pacific Quay, why do missing ferries look bigger than those coming in to dock?

Above, BBC Scotland reporting a Holyrood committee discussing ferry problems and below, the effects of one missing ferry on one island, well half of it, seen with Pacific Quay’s powerful new telescope:

Below, the much reported missing ferry returning today to South Uist. See it? Lower, just on the horizon.

Below again, a very good news story on a ferry fares freeze, to help all of the islanders:

2nd bottom, 2nd left? Here, take my binoculars.

I’m off to the optician.

  1. The Ferries are now only an SNPBad propaganda story, even though they are running at 100% efficiency, they are still used to attack the Scottish government, but more and more people now understand that, it must stop.

  2. O/T Scanning through the papers on BBC Scotland page today.
Front page of the Dundee Evening Telegraph.
‘BUSTED’ A London based drug gang who have been flooding Dundee with Heroin and crack cocaine were captured by border police force who were hunting for a missing child and came across the gang.
    The missing child is safe.
This story is massive and horrific yet unsurprisingly nowhere to be found on BBC Scotland website, or indeed on the main BBC homepage.
Could it be because where the drug gang are from that this is not headline news?
BBC Scotland so quick to ‘Salivate’ over Scotland’s drug deaths yet do not want the population to know where the drugs are coming from.
They make me sick to the stomach with their agenda.

  3. Rather as their QEUH campaign, the more often they amplify the nonsense and demote or don’t report the good, the more folks twig to the BBC in Scotland being a propaganda outfit, the “Boy who cried wolf” effect then kicks in…
When your audience is smarter than you think they are, you’re in trouble…

eg The strategy of South Uist being “cut-off from civilisation” was shot to pieces by them demonstrating in Glasgow, yet the BBC trotted out the same nonsense gambit as backdrop to their “human tragedy” piece in the second example.

The “media” are a serious problem, but are in severe difficulties in Scotland – Even the National got fully justified pelters for the ” ‘Not a soapbox’: Nicola Sturgeon told off for Brexit comment at Covid inquiry ” headline to the article.
Misrepresentation in journalism is what has almost killed off newspapers in Scotland – In Ireland they thrive because the do decent journalism and don’t take their audience for fools.
