MV Lord of the Isles to return to South Uist ahead of schedule

From CalMac at 9.23am but still not being reported by BBC Scotland:

MV Finlaggan is out of her deferred dry dock a day early and on her way to Islay freeing up MV LOTI for South Uist. Dry dock 2023/24 for our 35 vessels starts in just 6 weeks with a budget more than double 2017 to ensure resilience. Thank you for your patience.

@CalMacFerries

Did they have another story planned for tomorrow? Do they not follow CalMac?

  1. Ah, but they still have their “Ferry changes needed to end ‘blame-shifting culture’ – MSPs” story to milk in BBC/Scotland/Politics.
    – They’d added a comments section since to keep the story “new”, and accumulated 1087 comments after 34 hours with comments still open, despite this particular dead donkey being beyond rendering.
    Hilariously the first comment was “Ferries, Scotland. drum roll…”

    It’s almost certain McColl will return to haunt at some point, or a FOI special will appear with the gurning duo Simpson and Bibby, but John’s excellent ” 12 out of 58 sailings cancelled poses existential threat to life in Gourock AND Dunoon ” is unlikely to feature…

  3. The only interest that these branch parties have is wrecking Scotland and a great fear of being deported to England ! OUR NAME being written out of history by late comers, removing our people, replacing them with 2nd home owners, leave these homes empty, bought for profit, with no concerns for locals, even young people who have an affection for this land homeless whilst working. , their ambition and hopes on hold Their language trashed! Scotland totally abused to please WESTMINSTER!! They TAKE and REPLACE GIVING THEIR RUBBISH As a replacement for what we had,
