For some time now, in coalition with the Daily Record, not-voted for MSP (Con) Sharon Dowey (above), has been using figures for her local Ayr hospital, to fuel her calls for Humza Yousaf to resign.
Things have gone wrong for her recently as University Hospital Ayr’s A&E department has performed better than its Crosshouse neighbour for the last 4 weeks and hit 70% within 4 hours in the most recent week for data, well ahead of the national figure of 63.4%.
The Prime Minister’s Richmond constituency is within the NHS Humber And North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. They do not publish weekly data but in March 2023, they managed only 52.7% in 4 hours. Ayr’s A&E was thus 32.8% better (17.3% of 52.7).

Calm down a bit Robert, and re-read the article.
You will see the pepoliod(sic) in question is a list tory. Who probably got into a position on the list that enabled them to grab a seat in Holyrood by promising to make things right for their backers.
Can you not just hear the conversation “naw don’t worry ‘coarse I’ll find a place for you on the gravy train, you’re one of my favourite supporters”.
