Sturgeon’s local hospital performing much better than Sunak’s

From Public Health Scotland today, we see that Scotland’s largest hospital, in the First Minister’s constituency, the QEUH, had 2 868 deaths in the last year but, based on previous years, had been predicted to have 3 176.

This represents a 9.7% reduction or improvement.

From Public Health England, the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in which the PM has his constituency, 2 205 deaths were predicted but 2 370 were observed.

This represents a 7.5 increase or deterioration.
