SNP secure: Sarwar is not even a Starmer when it comes to winning anything

Prince Anas Sarwar, millionaire food factory owner, can tell the Labour conference anything he likes. They only know what Ian Murray wants them to know and they don’t care to find out anything for themselves, about up here.

The claim of gains is delusional look a the latest polls.

Predicted Labour support nationally and the regional prediction

  • Redfield & Wilton 25 September: 34% across UK and 13% in Scotland
  • Deltapoll 22-25 September: 44% and 30%
  • YouGov 21-22 September: 42% and 20%
  • Deltapoll 21 September: 30% and 15%

Typically, Labour in Scotland are running at only half the level of support even Starmer can attract in England. They and Sarwar are going nowhere but down the chute.

  1. In his speech Starmer claimed ‘Labour would help Scotland shape its own future’. Given his and his party’s colonialist and dirigiste attitude towards Scotland, I suspect that the ‘help’ will be conditional on accepting how Labour decides Scotland’s future will be ‘shaped’.

    1. With regards ” They and Sarwar are going nowhere
      But down the Chute ”
I concur but with the caveat that such chute discharges into the cess pit
Tis the people of Scotland who are the sole arbiters of who and how they are governed and not smiling faces and clapping hands at a UK political party conference
This is a irrefutable fact that NONE can deny

    2. He also said, “We can’t work with the SNP, so WON’T work with the SNP.”

If, as is likely, at the next general SNP win the majority of seats; and with Holyrood having an absolute majority for SNP and Greens, how will they “help Scotland shape its own future”?

Although the Labour Conference voted for proportional representation, Starmer has said, “It is not a priority”. So, given the pro independence position of the majority of MPs and MSPs, are Labour going to claim that because the pro independence parties did not get a majority of the votes cast or, by including non voters, that there is no majority for independence in Scotland?

But they will be forming the UK Government on a minority of votes and, possibly, a minority of seats.

Obviously they see no contradiction or anomaly.

  3. The Labour Unionist Conference in Liverpool clearly has not an inkling of what is going on in Scotland judging by some of the moronic speeches being made by delegates .
Not surprising as they are likely to have been ”briefed ” by two knowledgeable Scots – Sarwar and Murray , Scotland’s answer to The Muppets .
They probably hinted at their rising fortunes based on their improved performance at the last Scottish Council elections – this was only their SECOND worst in history . So , an improvement !

    1. The Labour British nationalist party know exactly what is the situation in Scotland. They are desperately trying to control the narrative by making stuff up, like saying they are popular in Scotland. Sigh.

They are relying on people believing a myth which says, Scotland has chosen the wrong relationship and really just wants to be with us, if only they would admit it, sniffle sniffle. The thing is Labour unionist party just cannot accept that they have been ditched, Scotland doesn’t need or want them anymore. Labour Unionist party are water under the bridge in Scotland, I mean they were the ones who did the dirty and got into bed with someone else, called the Tories. Let’s all just ensure that the people of Scotland are reminded every day, just what Labour did in 2014, and of their disgusting treatment of women workers in Glasgow, their PFI scams and sending billions of pounds back to Westminster when they were at the helm at Holyrood. They did absolutely nothing whatsoever good for Scotland in their ten years at Holyrood, no attempt to improve the lives of the people, no attempt to alleviate English government created poverty, no attempt to improve infrastructure etc. Their legacy is appalling in Scotland, don’t allow them to try to fool people into believing their empty promises, emotional speeches that sound like a rap song, like Angela Rayner’s are fake, rehearsed, she was smirking looking very pleased with her own performance and that is all it was, a performance.

Labour HQ’d in London blotted their copybook some time back in Scotland, and Scotland is well rid, no going back now, no way.
