All over BBC Scotland today, a trade union rumour used to undermine your confidence in NHS Scotland and by association the SNP Government:
The British Medical Association (BMA) Scotland said vacancies for consultants may now be higher than 15%. Doctors were also reporting “widespread burnout” even before the Covid crisis hit, according to the association.
This is no better than rumour but we can trust a doctors’ trade union can’t we? I mean it’s not the RMT or the NUM.
Did you see this in the small print?
The Scottish government said the number of consultants had increased by more than 56% since 2006.
BBC Scotland are clearly balanced unless you think the great big headline might have more impact.
Not all over, not anywhere for explanatory context, to put the BMA rumours into perspective, in 2019, nearly 20% more consultants and nearly 30% more GPS in Scotland:
Shoddy reporting? Not even that.

I find the suggestion of pre-covid widespread burnout very hard to believe. Post-covid even more so.
Doctors can find numerous reasons not to have a personal consultation now and telephone appointments definitely save them time.
A cynic might say ” what do doctors actually do?”, or am I being too harsh on them?

I think you are being too hard on doctors Robert. I believe most are good people, and do the job to the best of their ability.
Of course, that won’t stop our corrupt media headlining any story which they believe will damage our quest for independence. And I’m afraid that is where they hope the damage will be done. The good news is that less and less people are being brainwashed, because that is exactly what it is, so hopefully, when the next independence referendum is called later this, enough people will see sense, and make us an independent nation once again.

Robert Martin, enjoying good health you must be to say “ what do they actually do “
Haha
Once you are ill or old you might see it differently.
GPs , they do look at their computers a lot when you go to see them but thats no bad thing , they are checking your past health history and maybe checking the drugs that are available to treat you , which is best , i think some patients might be difficult haha not me by the way.
Hospital doctors might be under pressure bigger shared environment less control of their environment GPs have their own consultation room with a door but hospital doctors often dont and i think that brings on more pressure , background noise interruptions etc

And to confirm my point about our corrupt media, I see the ” worlds” press, well England’s anyway, are gathering like vultures at the Scottish Parliament hoping for some, in their minds, sensational headlines to broadcast tomorrow. No matter what is said today, Nicola will be hung, drawn and quartered, without waiting to see what she says next week.
L.B.J, and his crooked acolytes, are absolutely terrified of her, and what Scottish independence would mean to his country.

And all in the best interest of balance
No doubt ABC (BBC) Also done it in
The best possible taste as they crossed their legs
But by doing so they merely flash their heavily soiled intimates upon us

When will the SNP/SG start to defend Scotland from all the britnat media lies and anti-Scottish propaganda? Why are they feart to call the britnat media liars? The britnat media hates the SNP/SG/Scotland already so there’s nothing to lose in attacking them.
