Self-important corporate hack and former ‘news blogger’ thinks he’s better than us now

See above, what the Scotsman’s ‘Westminster Correspondent’ had to say when a pro-independence broadcaster was allowed to ask a question at the First Minister’s briefing yesterday.

‘Partisan hobby blog?’ You can see his frankly nauseating sneer. Does he really believe any media are not partisan? On behalf of the state, or their corporate owners or the Eaton/Oxbridge elite from which most of the best paid figures emerge?

‘Ooooh, I’m the Scotsman’s Westminster Correspondent, I am! Does he know what their circulation is now?

Here’s Gourtsoyanis in the Guardian back in 2011

He was just a blogger then. He must have cried every night but now he’s the big man!

Unregulated media? As the Westminster Correspondent does he now think only those regulated by the state can have access? Did he think that when he was on the outside himself? Is he just another smug traitor?

Does he think BBC Scotland is regulated? He should try complaining about something and see where that gets him.

Has he listened to the ill-informed, snidy, horribly partisan questions from the ‘national’ (state) broadcaster’s Glen Campbell and Lisa Summers? Is he OK with them?

I feel queasy.

    1. …or any other outlet as “partisan” from a Hootsman perspective… All his delusions of grandeur did was boost BroadcastScot’s profile and supporters…

  1. What I find really depressing about the daily press questions session is not the obvious bias of many of the journalists. I take that for granted. Its the fact that most of them appear to be very ill informed and, frankly, thick as 2 short planks.
