Oh come on! It’s not as if he left her for a journalist

Seriously though, it’s not a crime. What kind of newspaper headlines this kind of thing?

Who wrote it? Hannah Rodger. Rodger? Rodger? Nudge nudge?

If you thought yesterday’s ‘row’ about naming a hospital based on a rant from Douglas Alexander and two other tweets, was evidence of how low the Herald can sink, think again.

I mean, FFS, he’s just a councillor. He’s not the former First Minister is he?

Did they have a better grasp on what journalism is, only four years ago?

Ultimately, the breakdown of the marriages of two SNP MPs, allegedly following affairs with the same woman, is a matter for those involved and their families.

What’s that smell? Is it the smell of blood? Another SNP Civil War? No it’s just shit.

  1. What would these journalists make of a story involving a senior politician “playing away” with untold numbers of younger women, funnelling tens of thousands of pounds to one of them whilst still purportedly married, fathering unknown numbers of illegitimate kids, being chucked out the marital home then shacking up in No. 10 with (and impregnating) yet another bit of squeeze? Eh? How bad would that be? Eh? FFS Herald – get some perspective!

    1. It’s quite weird though isn’t it. I mean, Boris is already known to be wholly morally corrupt, so it’s like no one has any mileage in blackmailing him (unless of course there are hidden depths to his moral bankruptcy) or anything – but everyone just accepts it, the media, the majority of the electorate, just blindly accept it,,,, then they start judgmentally moralising about other people as though it has some kind of meaning – one value for people I like, another value for people that disagree with me? That kind of thinking? Bunch of weirdos.
