Noticed that Jezza has appointed some bloke from Rochdale as ‘Shadow’ Scotland Secretary. I mean – why bother? – really and truly – why on earth bother? – Surely a better look would be to simply accept that we’re all into new territory and explain that the labour party in Westminster will watch and await democratic developments. Old imperial habits die so so very, very hard – Jezza has, it must be said, been somewhat of a disappointment all round, has he not?
