1. Thanks Ragman’s Bugle – an interesting read – and, as you suggest, language (the use and abuse thereof) is, indeed, crucial in the ceaseless struggle for political and social progress. We all have to try and hold the faith – ‘cos it’s a mighty tough shift! – Our forebears had it a heck of a lot tougher and they managed to drag some huge concessions from the elites – so we have to remember their struggles and redouble our efforts. Next big and do-able step on the road to progress = an Indy Scotland.
