The recording of crime remains below the position immediately prior to the pandemic (2019-20) and is down 51% from its peak in 1991. Numerous independent studies, across the globe, prove their unsuitability. They produce waste that causes local spikes in, for example, breast cancer and childhood leukaemia. It takes centuries to make the sites safe. They cost far more to build, to run and to de-commission than the renewables which already produce more power than Scotland needs. This is not explained: It takes 3 hours and 4 minutes to drive from Campbelltown around the coast to the nearest big city, Glasgow How long does the drive from Glasgow and the ferry from Ardrossan take? It takes 1 hour and 10 minutes longer, not counting the waits for embarking and disembarking. Finally, why did CalMac make this cut.
