In their ‘Will walk-in GP clinics deliver one million extra appointments?’ yesterday, BBC Scotland were keen to direct the response with information like the above and respondents revealing a fall from 87% satisfaction to 76% satisfaction with ease in contacting a GP.

They have not compared the NHS Scotland results for 2024 with those for NHS England:

The Scottish average, though having fallen, was 76% while for NHS England, carried out by Ipsos, was 51%

Satisfaction with ease of access to a GP is still 50% higher in Scotland than in England.
