Professor John Robertson OBA
Is Neil in the huff over something? The youngsters in charge now not listening to his pearls of wisdom? I’ve felt the same at times but this is going too far, far too far. Why didn’t he speak to the FM or the current health secretary. Instead he’s opened the doors to the wolves just when it matters most. SOG!
The comments under his post say it all about his actions so I’ll just concentrate on why his conclusion, based on the experience of his pal, are way out, with just a few recent sets of data posted here and revealing NHS Scotland to be the best by far in the UK.

I could go on.

outrageous!
There should be no place for him in the SNP after this.
As you say John, thick as mince. Instead of going through the correct channels he gives the unionist press and the usual disrupters in our Scottish Parliament an SNP bad headline.
This in a crucial election year.
what a traitor to his nation.
He’ll be joining Farridge Ltd next I expect.

Not heard from him for a while. Must be an election pending if the media are reporting anything he says.

Och no, as ever Alex gilds the chanty to assist his old Labour pals- “A friend of mine waited 3 hours for an ambulance” as he wisnae an urgent case – ” and then 33 hours on a trolley at Ayr Hospital” as he wisnae an urgent case and has the bladder of an elephant like me – “last week before being allocated a bed” as they decided to keep him in for observation –
From Alex’s political chanty cul-de-sac, “The First Minister’s claim that the SNHS has turned a corner is rubbish. Scotland’s hospitals are in deep crisis and need urgent action NOW” is par for the course, he has to empty his bladder eventually and back up Damn Baillie – Elected by none bar electoral process (check his Wikipedia page), Alex is as the current crop of Labour wannabes, believers in wielding personal influence to effect outcomes for ‘friends’, and that the exception makes the generality when it comes to political posturing – Probably the reason he was never elected by majority in the first place….
So to your question “Is Neil in the huff over something?”, the answer is “everything”.

It’s only a matter of time surely until we hear or read that Alex Neil, like Jim Sillars in the past, has contributed to some Labour MSP’s election campaign for the Scottish elections this year.
Remember how Jim Sillars lost his ‘independence’ credibility when this was reported:
“On 3 March 2022, the Daily Record revealed that Sillars had donated £2,000 to Labour MSP Jackie Baillie during the 2021 Scottish Parliament election campaign”.
I thought it was only meant to be in reference to a women the quote that states “Hell hath no fury like a women scorned” , however in Scotland it now seems apt to connect it also to certain ex SNP politicians.
Of course they, the grievance mongers, know only too well that the UK MSM will be only too willing to pander to them as ex SNP politicians and so then give them their undivided attention, also give them the public platform that they crave (and were once denied when they were still SNP politicians) and so then ultimately a means by which to continue to publicly air their #SNPBAD grievances….whether they be real or imagined, which is of no concern to the UK media …………nor it seems , to some of these ex SNP politicians either.
No one likes political bad losers apart from a UK media, especially when the political bad losers are ex SNP MSP’s with a grievance against their former party, as the UK media then know that they can try to capitalise on their #SNPBAD messaging which then in turn helps pro UK political parties and indeed also helps the UK State.
Time certain people ‘put on their big boy pants’ and so stopped thinking that all people within Scotland want to be obsessed with and so rally behind their personal grievances …………..Scotland has moved on and so should they.
The bigger picture being that many of us within Scotland have far more pressing issues that are far far far more significant, as issues, to deal with .
I mean look at the mess we now have with Labour as the new UK government and also with Sir Keir Starmer as the new UK PM……..that then surely must question the obvious poor judgement of Jim Sillars previously donating to a Labour politician in Scotland and so also the lack of savvy in Alex Neil choosing to parrot the Labour party’s attacks upon the SNP as a Scottish government.
Sillars and Neil are now obviously working for the opposing side that supports the continuance of the UK State………all of their words and actions are a testimony to this.
They both know only too well how things work in politics and so they then both know that every #SNPBAD word that they utter to the UK media, may then result in what they and the UK media hope will be a vote for a UK political party……….and so then will also be a vote for the UK State.
They have obviously now ‘changed’ sides …………so let’s drop the fact that they were once SNP politicians , as that is now consigned to history and was obviously at the time either a mistake on their part or on the SNP’ , as their true allegiance is seemingly still with a UK political party.
