The Scottish Lib Dems, Wendy Chamberlain MP has manged to get in the Scottish Legal News today to say: New crime statistics showing a five per cent increase in sexual crimes “paint a deeply troubling picture” about violence against women and girls in Scotland, the the Scottish Liberal Democrats have said. https://www.scottishlegal.com/articles/lib-dems-sexual-crime-statistics-deeply-troubling It’s not clear why a Westminster MP should be attempting to scare Scots on crime figures which are far lower than and increasing more slowly in England & Wales.
