A Reform surge in Scotland?
In January 2025, between 9% and 13% in the last 10 Holyrood polls but between 22% and 25% in the last 10 Westminster polls. At best, only half as popular in Scotland.
Today, between 14% and 22% in the last 10 Holyrood polls, currently 17 points behind SNP but between 26% and 33% in the last 10 Westminster polls, currently 14 points ahead of Labour.
At best, only two thirds as popular in Scotland.
Why?
We have bams in Scotland but, thanks to people like Chief Commissioner Cameron Miekelson, only half as many as in England. We’ve known that for decades as the Tory vote in Scotland comes in at half that in England and as we have no race riots, ever.

She writes for The Spectator and, since the Tories might be in terminal decline the right wing media are all for Reform.
She will be based in London and, probably, will not actually have come to Scotland and suffer these woad painted Jocks. So, she can continue to tell us what the perspective of the ruling classes is.
STV’s current proud boast is, “Watch all of England’s World Cup matches on STV.”

Further confirmation that buying a TV licence is a huge mistake.

STV = oxymoronic.
Subordinate?
Secondary?
Supporting?
Suck-up?
Sycophantic?
Sad?
News from England/footie/opinions/culture/soaps and propaganda.
A normal country would have control/oversight of its media. But not if you are a colony.

She’ll fit in well with the anti-SNP propaganda that STV broadcasts most of the time !

Just as anticipated the British media now ramping up it’s anti SNP rhetoric and what better way than to have a Labour appointee to spearhead their campaign to ensure Scotland is once again put back in its box.
