Shoplifting increased because of austerity. It is less in Scotland because of better welfare care. £250million to increase better rehab facilities.
Knife deaths in London increased 200 a year. The NHS was underfunded. Scotland is safer because of the SNP policies.
More goods are taken by the staff than shoplifters.

Partly but opportunism, when the police are fewer as they are in England and deployed to arrest climate protesters and peace protesters, also, quite handy to have smaller shops attacked and closed down, it helps the bigger oligarch owned shops make even more profit.

My elderly neighbours read the Tory rags and watch Tory/Labcobs’ BBC every day. They were horrified to see it reported that in England, Yes there, there are gangs that’s plural, that go around thieving from shops, usually smaller shops and take what they want in front of staff and threatening them, and the cops do nothing about it.
parts of England are like the wild west it seems.
No wonder so many English folk are jumping ship and as they can’t easily go to the EU that they voted to leave and took Scotland out of into their bargain, Scotland is open doors, walls and windows, with all the benefits of the SNP policies to take advantage of. That’s ok but can we not allow people to vote in Scotland unless they have lived here for a minimum of three years F/T residence, and pref five years.
