BBC website article added on today 11 October.
On main England page, it is now the third story, and local news page for Tees, now the second story….article only added on today 11 October !
It is on the BBC Home page , added today as an article, and already it is the ninth article but it is not on either the BBC UK main page nor is it on the UK Politics page…….
The story ?
“Nurses penalised for trans complaint, says lawyer”
Yet again , on the ball , MSM Monitor posted this today:
“The Darlington NHS trans tribunal heard closing submissions today. What did we learn? That the BBC operates two different policies north and south of the border with respect to trans issues. It’s a political wall-to-wall circus in Scotland. Not so in England“
The article on this by the BBC stated that:
“NHS bosses “penalised” female nurses complaining about a transgender woman using their changing room, an employment tribunal has been told“
“Eight nurses are challenging a policy which allows the single-sex room at Darlington Memorial Hospital to be used by Rose Henderson, a biological male who identifies as a woman”.
“In closing submissions, the nurses’ barrister said they had suffered indirect discrimination, harassment and victimisation due to County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust’s Transitioning In The Workplace policy”
So once this is concluded will it be revisited over and over again by the BBC and other media , as in the same way as the Sandie Peggie case was within Scotland (and also elsewhere in the UK via other UK media).
Remember in Scotland this matter via the Nurse Sandie Peggie was very much well promoted and also very much politicised….by the BBC and also by many others as well.
The BBC did a multitude of articles upon the Sandie Peggie case in Scotland.
This Darlington case is focused on the Nurses and the respective Trust but what about the Politics ?
What indeed.

This story is now no longer on the main England page on the BBC website.
It is also now the third article on the local news page for the area of Tees….yesterday it was the second article on that page.
Still nothing about it on the main UK page or UK politics page.
The front pages of today’s English editions of newspapers on what was the “closing submissions in this Tribunal case of these Darlington Nurses against the NHS Trust”
The Telegraph – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Independent – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Guardian –nothing on their front page on this story.
The Times – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Daily Express – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Daily Mail – nothing on their front page on this story.
Financial Times – nothing on their front page on this story.
The ‘I’ paper – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Metro – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Sun – nothing on their front page on this story.
The Daily Mirror – nothing on their front page on this story.
This is a story that , today, is being subjected to a ‘news blackout’ in England on the front pages ?
However the same kind of story in Scotland, via a Scottish Nurse Sandie Peggie, saw a wall to wall front page headline sensationalist overkill before, during and post the Tribunal case ……as apparently #BAD Trans related stories in Scotland are the big story……..but only in Scotland ?????
Here is an example.
I typed in “Sandie Peggie The Sun” on Google and got a multitude of various articles in The Sun newspaper upon this story.
The same for The Daily Express, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Daily Record (sister paper of The Daily Mirror), The Guardian, The Times and also the same for various, checks bloody notes, so called ‘Scottish’ newspapers.
As only in Scotland is everything politicised while within England the buck always seems to stop anywhere but with the various UK governments or the various UK political parties……..
That BTW for Scotland is also a constitutional related matter, as in where the UK media wants us all within Scotland to assume that the SNP are uniquely , as a party, unfit to govern here in Scotland, while others, as in UK political parties, who govern elsewhere within the UK can never be seen , by people in Scotland, to be regraded in the same way. (the other UK exception of course to this UK media rule being Sinn Fein in NI , as they are not a ‘Unionist’ party so they are also promoted as being #Bad as well).

And no mandatory waspish comments from JK Rowling in the Tees-side article.

MSM Monitor posted this today:
“The Darlington NHS trans tribunal made it onto the BBC News at Six. Unlike the BBC’s coverage of the NHS Fife case there was no politics, nobody highlighting the cost to taxpayers and no Women’s Group blaming Labour for wasting public cash by allowing the case to go ahead”
Aye same subject and same situation yet handled differently by BBC HQ compared to how it was handled by the BBC branch office in Scotland , who chose to politicise it, highlight the cost to the taxpayers and also chose to platform members of women’s groups to allow them to attack the SNP in them saying public cash was wasted in allowing the Sandie Peggie case to go ahead.
So clearly as far as the BBC is concerned England & Scotland are not part of one country aka the UK State………..but instead both are treated as separate nations by the BBC in how it reports on the same subject and the same situation via each separate nation.
Who knew…….
Well al of us on this site and others too…..
