So, in March 2025, the Herald says give Ferguson Marine work without the need for competitive tender.

Two days later another Herald writer agrees.

By July, they’re still on that side but by October, below, they flip:

Wait, two days later, they flip back again!

I’m getting ferry sick.

  1. Is it not the case that The Herald’s editorial stance is being shown here to be consistent? Exploit any and every opportunity to publish a headline about the present Scottish Government that is framed in a negative way!

  2. I thought the Heralds stance was to close down the yard and by inference, go for CalMac and the Scottish Government?

    Is this not what Martin Williams spent weeks writing the same stories (the words were just rearranged) and encouraging various “pop up” groups to attack CalMac etc.

    Journalist of the Year? Franny of the Year more like.

    My keyboard is playing up.. 🙂
