There are, and even Lord Ashcroft’s Holyrood mag has them:
Just 47 per cent of respondents said they trust the SNP administration to work in the country’s best interests. That compares with a pre-pandemic score of 61 per cent, which was recorded in 2019, and 81 per cent at the onset of devolution in 1999. It is also above the score of 21 per cent recorded for the UK Government.
That’s interesting isn’t it? More than twice as many Scots trust the SNP Government as trust the UK (Con or Lab) Government! Wonder why they didn’t mention that? Lack of time I suppose?
How well does BBC Scotland do in polls or surveys?
There are none specifically on trust, but:

BBC Scotland , STV and the unionist media act as a kind of malignant Greek Chorus , constantly undermining the actions of the SNP Government and broadcasting Doom and Gloom , ignoring its many positive achievements . Issues which affect the whole UK are presented as only Scottish failings .
And comparisons with the rUK is NEVER allowed as it would show that Scotland is performing better in the economy , the NHS , Homelessness , Child Poverty ….

Kemi Badenoch , in her Conference speech, was absurd (and desperate)…..
She listed the various scandals involving the new Labour UK government , as if her own Tory party, were those who had clean hands as the previous (various) UK Tory government(s)…..but we all know about the various (too) many Scandals connected to the Tory party…..when they were formerly in charge of their UK State.
(Including also a current, as yet, unresolved scandal , connected to the Tory party , that is the Tory Fast-track “VIP lane” for awarding contracts for PPE and as a process it was also implemented for the failed and flawed English Test and Trace system as well).
Where it was reported that (many inexperienced) companies were being awarded these contracts by the Tory UK government…… to provide PPE to the NHS ….much of which was unusable…….
Who as companies , were reported as having made vast profits at the tax payers expense, and who were referred to this Tory Fast Track VIP lane by various Tory MP’s, Tory government ministers, Tory Peers and also ex Tory MP’s…..and it was also noted …..by a Chief of Staff to a Tory PM as well)……………
Also not only did the Tories have a succession of different leaders within a limited period of time……as in within a short timespan ……….many of them………as Tory leaders………proved to be absolutely useless, they also , as former Tory leaders, were blighted by scandals connected to and so involving themselves.
So Badenoch was speaking from what is a Tory Political Glass House.………
Thankfully and finally , the Tories, were eventually rightly voted out last year by the UK public in the GE, and they now have a vastly reduced number of Tory MP’s sitting in the HOC at WM……………….
Ironic then , that the same (Tory) party , who some regarded as trying to ‘game the system’ with the new ‘boundary changes’ in 2024, then ended up having far far less Tory MP’s (seats) at WM, than their main opposition party, Labour, in the 2024 UK GE…….. as the Tory party lost that UK GE by a huge majority.
Also not forgetting the very very pertinent fact that Kemi Badenoch herself was part of that previous Tory UK government , as a government Minister.
Badenoch also , like other UK party leaders at their respective party conferences, mentioned Scotland in her conference speech…….
That is a very unique and rare occurrence for a UK party leader in a UK HQ party conference speech to ever mention Scotland….indeed it is something that would normally never happen , as in Scotland being noted as being significant enough to even mention us at all in any HQ speech…..unless of course there were local elections happening next year in Scotland…..so then it was a tactical reference . Got it.
She , Badenoch, also listed all of the other parties by their party names but noted the SNP as being “the Nationalists” thus denying them their real party title…..that was also quite hilarious and an extremely absurd thing for a UK HQ party leader to do………..especially when she , as an obvious English Nationalist party leader, pretending to be a British Nationalist party leader, while hiding her (English) Nationalism behind a so called ‘British Patriotism’……fools no one , but still they, and in this instance she, keep pretending.
“Grangemouth refinery no more” Badenoch said in her speech……….while conveniently forgetting the mass deindustrialisation policy, as in legacy, of the former Tory PM Margaret Thatcher with……”Bathgate no more. Linwood no more. Methil no more. Irvine no more”…….etc etc
Also in the future under Badenoch’s Tory party …..there will apparently be Net Zero no more……but as for Scottish oil there will be still much much more of that….for her UK State…..and also for her England, via her supposed next new Tory UK government, there will , I assume , still be a continued plundering of electricity from Scotland via….checks bloody notes….renewable energy from Scotland…..
So more irony from a flagging Tory party……….
(Speaking of flagging , when Badenoch was interviewed by Beth Rigsby of SKY News in a room at the Tory Conference ….there was three Union flags on display to the left of her…….arranged to display the English part as the dominant part of the flag on display)…….#JustSayin).
Badenoch is just another UK Party leader hypocrite who, as a typical BritNat or rather English Nationalist, suffers from ‘selective memory syndrome’….where she only recalls all #BAD events/instances/actions done by ‘others’ , while hypocritically completely ignoring her own Tory party’s many many many #BAD actions and also their excessive amount of listed and documented past/current Tory party #BAD behaviour(s).
This latest new and useless Tory leader Kemi Badenoch is desperate to still be seen as being relevant ……….and also for her party, the Tories, to still be regarded as a significant ‘political player’ in UK politics…..that is that she wants to keep her job as the latest (newish) Tory leader.
So she needs to try to stop the flow of Tory politicians, Tory members and Tory voters all defecting to the Reform UK party…….or then , she too, becomes yet another Tory leader ousted . (I mean can the Tories survive another Tory leadership contest ?)
Badenoch is also playing the same game as all other UK party leaders are playing….
That is where all of them are trying to win the title of the ‘Nastiest political party within the whole UK’…..
As in who , as a UK Party, can come up with the most nastiest policies as a UK party and also then use the worse kind of language to refer to and so demonise ‘others’ , who they , as UK parties, want people to see as being the real ‘enemies of the (UK) State’.
Be it Immigrants, the EU, Benefit recipients, Scottish & Welsh independence political parties and their supporters/members who are referred to by BritNats as being “Separatists”, Corbyn’s newly formed Left wing Political party and also the new Green party in England and it’s new leader Zach Polanski……..
Indeed anyone that they , the UK establishment, see as a being a threat to the UK State aka the British State……is then , as assumed enemies of the UK State, targeted.
In them being subjected to a campaign of abuse and hate via those who represent the UK establishment , both politically and also by the UK State media.
Also the UK establishment, via their UK governments , try to prevent any potential financial risks for the wealthy “Few” , in that we witness various UK governments continuing to protect and pander to the wealthy “Few” within the UK State …..while simultanously they also , as UK governments, greatly damage, ignore and so neglect the needs and wants of the “Many” less wealthy citizens within their UK State…..
(All UK governments all receive, as pro UK political parties, vast amounts of political financial donations to their election campaigns from the wealthy “Few” – as in via political donors- who then try to help them win, as a party, many elections via their -over- generous financial donations)………..
The real threat to and the enemy of.….. the UK State….are all of the UK political parties themselves who then become the various UK governments……..(as are the wealthy “Few” also a threat to the UK State).
As they , as UK political parties, always try to ignore that as a fact
However had they, as various UK governments, treated all nations within their UK State and also all of the people both fairly and well within their UK state as various UK governments, then there would be no current unrest or huge discontent to the extent that there now is within their UK State.
Decades of neglect and contempt for ‘others’ (Nations and people) by various UK government’s has resulted in a deserved backlash against them by people within various nations within the UK……….
Devolution was the assumed permanent ‘sticking plaster’ solution that Labour (wrongly) thought would end all desire for Scottish independence………..but now because of the actions of various UK governments, including Labour ones, since devolution and indeed since Brexit , we now have a position where many people within Scotland want the many wounds inflicted by the UK State to finally be actually permanently healed…..and all of the UK political parties “Sticking plaster” non solutions for Scotland will just will not cut it any more.
We all know the only real healing for Scotland is with Scottish independence…..
As it seems that the Labour party’s ‘Devolution’ solution is now being seen, by many Scots, as being only a temporary (non) solution that has not fixed, nor changed nor healed anything for Scotland within their UK State.
Badenoch , the latest Tory HQ leader, is being intentionally delusional if she thinks Scotland would ever choose her party , as a majority, over the SNP within Scotland in any elections………but then she has to keep playing the game and so pretending that her party can do what ?
Not lose as badly as the polls are now suggesting…………that’s some lack of political ambition but is also very much deserved for both her as Tory HQ leader, the Tory branch office manager and also for the whole Tory party as far as Scottish politics is concerned……….
This political charade, pantomime and farce could all stop for Scotland …………if only Scotland were to be independent…….and then we were no longer a part of their UK State……or as someone wrote the UK State should be called “Absurdistan”.
(That is………. the same Absurdistan that Kemi Badenoch wants to govern in the future as yet another absurd UK PM of an even more absurd UK State government)…………

The form of D’Hondt was that not an EngGov invention at the start of ‘devolution’…designed specifically to make sure SNP could never have a majority at Holyrood…sleekit eh, BritNats don’t play nice and people need to keep apace with their underhand tactics.
