Contrary to media hysteria, there was not one anti-semitic violent attack recorded in Scotland in 2024

The most recent report on anti-semitic attacks in the UK, in 2024, from the CST, published 12 February 2025, prompted some excited media coverage at the time but today the hoisting, in Edinburgh, of a Palestine flag in sympathy for the genocide in Gaza and in line with the UN position on Palestine as an independent state has enabled the above front page mince.

From Antisemitic Incidents 2024:

CST recorded 3,528 antisemitic incidents in the UK in 2024, the second-highest total ever reported to CST in a single calendar year.

Only one of the cases could be described by the researchers as ‘Extreme Violence include any antisemitic attack with the potential or intention of causing loss of life or grievous bodily harm (GBH).’ 126 cases were described as ‘violent.’ None of these took place in Scotland.

74 of these all cases reported took place in Scotland, with 8% of the UK population so, per head of population, that would be equivalent to just below 900, around a quarter of the rate.

Bizarrely the only case reported in Scotland and used in the report is this:

A series of antisemitic leaflets were seen in northern Scotland. They were produced by the Goyim Defence League and claimed that “Every Single Aspect Of Feminism Is Jewish”

  1. When I studied mathematics at university in the 1960s one the set books was “Use and Misuse of Statistics”.
Do journalism courses only use the latter?

  2. Here’s the rule.

Whatever the SNP endorse, promote, support and campaign either against or For….that then will form the basis of the opposing argument of those whose main opposition is their relentless anti SNP position.

Irrespective of whether the SNP’s stance is a positive one, or that it is based upon a kindness and so is seen as being good and compassionate towards others less fortunate and so they , as less fortunate people, are obviously suffering , then still their, the SNP’s, opposers (Haters) will always declare #SNPBAD.

This (latest) allegation of the SNP encouraging anti Semitism is one allegation in a long line of false accusations whose sole foundation is based more upon a hatred of the SNP, as a party, than in any actual real and factual basis…..haters are always gonna hate……because haters oppose all and real hope that is not founded upon (their) hate.

Simples really….it’s only the haters who try to complicate things for reasons that are not based upon real truths ……and the UK media will always be the most willing messengers to communicate all and any hate that is directed at the SNP….aka #SNPBAD…………….

  3. I’m not quite old enough to have read the originals on the dates of publication, but, were these 2 raggies not complicit in printing articles in praise of a certain Adolf Hitler back in yon days?

  4. Finally found the source article from the Daily Heil https://archive.ph/t7MHF and ploughed through all the usual rhetoric to this part on the “open letter” to John Swinney…

‘The Scottish Government holds no power over foreign policy and no meaningful influence over the State of Israel – The decision to pull a tiny amount of funding from a handful of commercial projects will not impact the Israeli government or change the course of the war – In short, the only people this announcement will materially affect are Scottish Jews who are already under siege.’

It continued: ‘We believe, with sorrow and outrage, that this decision was made to appease a small, extremist and increasingly aggressive fringe of the activist class, a group whose support is being courted for political reasons. It appears the government has calculated that the cost of alienating Scotland’s Jews will be outweighed by electoral rewards.’

The letter said some are ‘leaving Scotland for Israel out of fear’, and warned that the ‘small and increasingly vulnerable community is living in an extraordinarily hostile environment’.

Who the hell wrote this pish, Eylon Levy ?

The majority of the UK (not just Scotland) are sick to the back teeth of this propaganda war being conducted outside Gaza even with the complicity of the BBC and ALL the main UK political parties whilst genocide continues inside – The majority of those of Jewish faith in the UK, some 300,000 of them, are equally appalled by their faith being abused by extremists who claim to speak for them, that’s why they march relentlessly to end this obscenity.

Yet Dan Barker of the “Barking Mad” family at the Daily Heil, plays host to this utter nonsense, to make a living….

Yet here’s the cruel irony of Laura Schosloff Cowan’s loss of her brother during a Hamas hostage snatch squad operation, she’s ‘ Owner of bunny and Co mobile petting zoo ‘ – Gaza was never mobile, concentration camps never are, petting comes in variations of calibre…
