The above data represent a 26 % increase in pupil support assistants and an194 % increase in behaviour support staff since 2018.

  1. That ‘just’ at the start of the TESS piece is an example of ‘framing’. The author is signalling – ‘this is bad. It is about Scotland, so it has to be bad.’

    Pobably, it has been taken from a teacher union or campaigning organisation press release.
