If you try Labour councillor, you’ll get plenty but they’re all in England or Wales. If you try BBC Scotland Labour councillor, you will get only this, with none of the many sex offenders:

They followed standard msm protacol when the shamed offender is a friend of Management – such as a non-Independence-minded councillor – and buried the single reference to Labour at the erse-end of the story.

Need more evidence of the BBC’s bias….
MSM Monitor tweeted this on ‘X’.
“This is a tweet from BBC Scotland’s favourite anti-drugs campaigner Annemarie Ward. We think it’s safe to say she isn’t politically neutral, which is of course why she appeals to BBC Scotland”.
So what was her tweet ?
This was it…….
“The ferries rust in the dock, the sick wait in corridors, literacy sinks through the floor, and Sandie Peggie’s case rots in the in-tray. Moral courage abroad is cheap. Moral courage at home costs political skin and that is a price our leaders never pay”.
Also she had tweeted this….
“In Westminster, the establishment throttles online speech under the perfumed pretext of “safety.” In Holyrood, the Hate Crime Act goes further, deputising the perpetually offended to turn comedians, grannies, and nurses into potential criminals for the crime of causing a flutter in someone’s feelings”.
She is the CEO of FAVOR UK (Faces & Voices of Recovery) .
However it also seems that as well as having that role , she is also a very vocal critic of the Scottish government (SNP) on Scottish Ferries, the Scottish NHS, SCottish Education, the Gender Doctor/Nurse (Sandra Peggie) case ….indeed she is very much a hostile force towards the Scottish government (under the SNP that is)…..so her assumed remit and assumed expertise is not just on Drugs then…..it would appear not……based on that tweet by her……….
Hence her being the BBC Scotland’s GO TO person when they have any report or article upon Drug abuse and drug deaths in Scotland….
So then it seems quite obvious why the BBC invite her on….but based on her online activity , as in her comments and tweets, is she then a fit person for them to invite on as an ‘expert’ guest , as she is very much one who blatantly lacks impartiality upon the SNP as a party…….in her tweeting her version of #SNPBAD
She has written an article for ‘Think Scotland’ where she makes it even more clear that her thinking is ….#SNPBAD…..so who are the ‘Think Scotland’ team….well I dare to think !……..But……….
Brian Monteith is the Editor – ex Tory and ex Brexit party MEP.
Jackie Anderson is assistant Editor – ex M& S employee and apparently someone who has travelled and written (something,…. I have never heard of her).
So it seems that as well as the BBC welcoming Ms Ward as a expert guest , well we also have Monteith allowing her to write an article on this site, and apparently ‘Think Scotland’ was established in 2006 by Scottish ‘entrepreneur’ Robert Kilgour (a Tory , as someone who was a former Tory candidate and also a Tory Donor too)….
Here is some snippets from her ‘Think Scotland’ article entitled …..
“Twighlight at Westminster and Holyrood – now running on fumes”
“In Edinburgh, the SNP wrapped itself in the flag of “humanitarian values” while polishing its ‘compassionate’ halo as the bodies piled up back home. Drug deaths ? Housing shortages? GP deserts? Collapsing social care? These were treated as regrettable footnotes to a grand virtue signalling performance”.
Also she wrote….”The SNP’s grip on Scotland rests on hatred of Westminster” and also then wrote “The SNP is a movement in name only, running on nostalgia and grievance”.
Well she seems a tad triggered, hence why I am sure she is very keen to impart her non impartial (lack of wisdom) opinions on various TV news programmes…..as a ‘expert’ but one who is clearly compromised by what seems like a real loathing of the SNP……….
She , Ward, is clearly not an impartial contributor on any news programme, so for her to be invited onto any news programme to make any comment on the Scottish government’s (SNP) performance in relation to how they are trying to tackle and so reduce Drug deaths in Scotland , well as she is an obvious hostile force……who lacks impartiality ………she is totally unsuitable to be given any public platform as one who is a non politically neutral guest. (based on her tweets and written pieces online)….
Ofcom – BBC were warned by them on their ‘failure to uphold due impartiality’…….so I will complain if she is a guest on any of their news programmes (or their website) or indeed other TV channels , as she is totally unsuitable , as a guest, irrespective of her expertise, to comment on anything in respect to the SNP as the Scottish government.
BBC website 10 January 2025…….”Inside the UK’s first legal drug consumption room”
“Welcome to the Thistle – the UK’s first and only drug consumption room.” (Glasgow).
Then further down the article :
“Annemarie Ward is the chief executive of the charity Faces and Voices of Recovery UK, which helped draft the Scottish Conservatives’ Right to Recovery Bill making its way through the Scottish Parliament”.
“She questioned spending priorities and stated that the facility was a “misnomer of treatment”.
“She said it was a “travesty and a devastation” that addicts often don’t have access to recovery services”.
“Ms Ward added: “Does it stop people from dying? I don’t think it does. I think it encourages people to continue to harm themselves”.
“I would like to see the money go into services that can help people get their lives back. “
They, the BBC article, failed to note this was another #SNPBAD.
(Wait until the BBC sees some of what she writes online…..not all are drug related issues as some of her online activity is where she covers various topics that are all ultimately #SNPBAD in both tone, content and so intention……).

OMG I have just realised something……….
JK Rowling supposedly reviewed Nicola Sturgeon’s book, Frankly, in a piece entitled…
“The twilight of Nicola Sturgeon” written on the 14 August 2025.
In it she includes this…….”the tanking educational outcomes, the CalMac Ferry disaster” and then also “Scotland continues to lead the whole of Europe in drug deaths” and then “she (NS) expected nurse Sandie Peggie to deal with a heavy menstrual flood in front of a cosplaying man”….
Then in my comment above on Annemarie Ward….
Her piece for ‘Think Scotland’ was entitled …..
“Twighlight at Westminster and Holyrood – now running on fumes” written on the 18 August 2025…..
Where she , Ward, also noted similar things as JKR did in her piece that was published 4 days before Annemarie’s piece……..where she, Ward, also noted Education in her writing this ” literacy sinks through the floor” , and on Ferries too “The ferries rust in the dock” but strangely there was no reference , by Ward, in her tweet on Drugs, however she too mentioned Sandra Peggie “Sandie Peggie’s case rots in the in-tray”.
It seems to be that not so great #SNPBAD (minds) critics think alike…..one has a piece on “Twilight” and the other on “Twighlight” and both are compromised by their opposition to the SNP as a party and as the Scottish government……..and both are platformed by the BBC …..who I suspect, as a British broadcaster, are only too willing to repeat what both of them say when it is yet more #SNPBAD related grievances they want to promote……….
I mean Think Scotland….is this all a coincidence….Hell NO….it is not !

looks like someone at the BBC is starting to listen to you. Two stories in one afternoon one naming Labour msp in the headline and the other with county lines in the headline albeit they try to hide fact that gangs were from English cities until very late on.

Viewing figures for BBC Scotland News, must be very low, when we get a Scotland is Shite story popping up almost nightly on their main 6pm bulletin, something like the prison serves can’t cope with the amount of crims caught by the polis, and other tales of woe.
