As BBC Scotland resolutely (Like a submarine on duty?) refuse to mention the Category A nuclear incident or the 1 500 pipe leaks of tritium ‘smashing into your DNA‘, a few miles from Glasgow, as described in Scientific American, I’m reminded of the two other curses unavoidably resultant from our union but never to be mentioned – English drug gangs bringing new, more powerful but cheaper drugs, to around 50 towns and villages, from Dumfries to Thurso, backed up by extreme violence and keeping our drug deaths up, and the constant flow of nuclear radioactive emissions keeping our cancer deaths the highest in Europe, from the Sellafield plant just across the border and tragically up wind and upstream of all parts of Scotland.

A category A leak is the M O D’d most serious classification , yet they claim that the Cat A leak recently at Faslane had ”low safety significance ” and Lab Minister Angela Eagle claimed that she would not disclose details of said Cat. A leak as this ” would prejudice security ” . Wow !
So , regardless of the seriousness of ANY leak at Faslane we Scots , the people most likely to suffer any consequences of this leak , are to be kept in the dark for security reasons . Although , if these Cat.Grade A leaks continue we will be glowing in the dark as a consequence .
This , of course , will be designated another benefit of being Better Together – as we will save energy on lighting by glowing in the dark !
