Paul Hutcheon and Labour lie in Daily Record about ambulance performance (best) and hospital bed supplies (most) in Scotland

In the Daily Record today, from Paul Hutcheon:

More than half of ambulances have been stuck at hospitals this yea. The SNP Government have been criticised over a problems Labour say is caused by a shortage of beds.

First, on ambulances:

Excess deaths due to long A&E waits almost three times more common in England than in Scotland

Second, on beds:

As ‘Quademic’ looms NHS Scotland has 37% more beds, 33% more nurses, 27% more GPs and cleaner hospitals
NHS Scotland has nearly 4 000 more hospital beds than it would have if run by the UK Government these 18 years and a lower occupancy rate to help it cope with sudden surges

Oh, and don’t forget the completely safe, child friendly and totally green nuclear reactors that Great British Energy (Manchester) Ltd, insist we must have, supported by every Scottish Unionist MP and MSP still looking for a directorship or seat in the House of Lords, otherwise there is a danger that the lights may go out in London.

  2. Paul Hutcheon should simply change his name to Private Frazer ( Dad’s Army ) , then all his articles could begin ” We’re Doomed , Doomed !”
