Scottish Government invests £55 million in restoring biodiversity and there’s a ‘staggering butterfly boom’ but they get no credit for it

From Discover Wildlife today, the above and:

More than 500 small blue butterflies have been spotted at a single site in Scotland – a record-breaking number for one of the UK’s most threatened butterflies. Butterfly Conservation volunteer Richard Aspinall logged 523 small blues in just 90 minutes at Balnagown Estate near Invergordon. It more than doubles last year’s total and marks a hopeful sign for the species’ future, say conservationists.

How did this happen? Not for the first time these UK conservationists have little to say about the role of the Scottish Government in promoting and funding the conservation of biological diversity.

Why should they?

This:

The Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund (NRF) has awarded over £55 million since its launch in 2021, including to more than 240 projects through the competitive fund run by NatureScot. Projects are delivering exciting on the ground activity to protect and restore Scotland’s biodiversity while helping us build resilience to climate change. There has been a tremendous response across Scotland to harness the opportunities provided by the NRF. Our Nature Restoration Fund – supported projects page shows the range of projects supported across Scotland.

I’m not a expert but I feel sure butterflies don’t suddenly thrive unless you restore a wider healthy environment more generally.

Is this a first for Scotland and the SNP in Government? Nope. See:

That’s the rules. No credit ever to be given to the Scottish government.

The Scottish government, while under the SNP, must never ever be seen to be a government that are given any recognition or kudos for having generated anything positive.

If news must be communicated on anything that is seen as being remotely positive then the media will always add to their news reports a ‘But’, or a ‘However’ or a’ some critics say’ or even ‘opposition parties say that ‘, in order that it then becomes more of a negative news story , and so doubts are then raised as to it ever actually having being seen to be a good thing that they, the SNP , have done.

We have seen this happening time and time again over many many years , hence why we know the media here (and throughout their UK) are all so very very bad as a media and so often fail miserably to do the job that they are supposed to do, as they are all so very politically compromised by the political parties in opposition to both the SNP and also in opposition to Scottish independence.

Only when we see more people finally (FFS) realise just how hostile the media truly are against Scotland and so then more people in Scotland no longer believe or trust the media (via a majority , but obviously there will always be those who are staunchly British Nationalists and so they will resist) then and only then , may we make some real progress in more people believing and trusting in Scotland’s ability to become a successful and progressive independent nation in the world.

Vote SNP via a majority as a positive beginning to what will surely become a positive outcome in us finally being an independent nation . (if the majority vote for it in Scotland then those who oppose it and so still resist it must then respect the democratic will and the democratic vote, the same ‘democracy that they and others have previously relied upon as justification for us still currently being a part of their UK, as did they not say that we had a democratic vote and that our democratic will in 2014 saw us decide to stay, via a majority, within the UK as NO won the vote -allegedly ?????).
